So, which movies in the horror genre scare you the most? What gives you that tingle and keeps you enraptured for that huge build-up and has you screaming?

For me, it's The Thing and The Fog, both 80s movies that really know how to draw the suspense out.

I only saw The Thing (from the 80's) recently, and it certainly ranks up there as one of my favorites for both traditional scares and psychological fear.. I think the Fly with Jeff Goldblum gave me some pretty big chills too. That slow transformation *shudders*

Oh man, I can't stand to watch The Fly at all. I watched it briefly as a kid and I remember some of the grosser scenes from it enough to keep me from wanting to watch it again ... which means that I'm going to get my hands on it for this Halloween and freak out.

I can't even say! I'm not a fan of horror movies but especially not gore and blood ones.

I can take the blood and violence of action adventure though if that gets too bad I'm hiding my face!

Odd really considering I love love RPing a victim. Even then my limit is that the other player refrain from going into deeply graphical and gruesome descriptions.
