Back from another short absence. (Seeing relatives and all that stuff) Well, this week, Thanksgiving is happening, so I expect a decrease in activity for this week, mainly from the American members. Nonetheless, let’s see what’s going on in this chapter of the Shadow Stars.

There is a Pokémon tourney tomorrow on the 24th, a Brawl tourney on the 27th, and another Pokémon tourney on the 28th. Well, I’m back from my absence. We got quite some stuff going on at the forums, so let’s see what’s happening in the latest chapter of the Shadow Stars. If you received several copies of this newsletter, then I apologize; it may be another server error. Blame my internet!

---Tournaments---
This week, we have a Brawl tourney tomorrow on the 10th, another Brawl tourney on the 13th, and a Pokémon tourney on the 14th. If you want to play at any of them, please make time for it, come on time, and intend to play for the full length of the tourney. I’ll be emailing reminders, too. I can head the Brawl tourneys, but I need someone to head the Pokémon tourney.

If you don’t play in tourneys because of your leaderboard status (too many losses, too few wins, etc.) then guess what? You can ask me to take you off the leaderboard. The leaderboard is for public usage by the members to gauge their performance and rankings among the clan…but if you want to play solely for fun (though people who plays on the leaderboard do so for fun, too), then by all means, ask me to take you off.

Speaking of the leaderboard, I may bring it back up…in a crude way due to my not having any knowledge of the coding used for the previous leaderboard, but it’ll still work as a leaderboard. I may just post it in the Leaderboard Data topic, due to it being more than a temporary replacement for the actual leaderboard.

Well, Call Of Duty 4 Wii (Full name being “Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare: Reflex”) comes out tomorrow, from what I hear. Well, I’m to apologize for any strange things I said and did; I was distracted. I was pretty damn sick over the last few days, and I just wanted to get things done and get off or play a game to relax, plus I’ve been getting more and more confident with how my book series’ outline was turning out to be (I thought up the most kick-ass ending ever!), so I’ve been distracted with working on my series’ outline too. Well, I’m much, much better now, more focused now, and trust me, I was like “WTF?” at my performance. Yeah, yeah, I was sick, but at least the few things I did could have been done better. But don’t listen to ME….take a look at what’s coming up this week on the Shadow Stars.

---Tournaments---
Not many tourneys this week; just the special Conduit tourney on the 29th, and the Brawl tournament on the 1st of November. If you’re interested in either of them, be sure to check out the sign-up topics (links are below), and make time in your real-life matters so you can easily attend the tourney(s).

The Conduit Points-Hoarder tourney has, yet again, been moved to another time because of poor turnout. Let’s try again, people…now, sign-ups have been re-opened, and any number of people can sign up! But, the first four people to arrive for the tourney are the ones playing; any others will be disqualified.

The member of the week is Buddy, for putting asides all fun things on the forums (tourneys, etc.) in order to focus on getting the members to send him replays for the montage he has been trying to make for a year, now…I give him props for the determination, but I think putting aside the privilege to play In tourneys and such is a bit nuts, even if he DO need to focus on it…there is such a thing as taking a break, after all.

Speaking of Buddy, as I just mentioned, he’s been working on a montage for Shadow Stars…which is composed of replays sent in by the members. The sad part? There isn’t enough replays (Hell, I heard there isn’t any at all!) to make the montage. So please, volunteer your time to make some replays and send them in to him via your Wii as always, or send him replays you have already saved in your Wii’s memory. Whatever! Just get him some good replays, so that way, he can finish the damn montage and upload it! It’s for the good of the clan, so why not send him some replays? Just PM him for details (and friend codes, if required), or talk to him on the Chatbox if he’s there.

Well, I decided to add a new section to the newsletter: the Webcomic section. Here is where any new webcomics (both Story and Special webcomics, along with any comics Lycan makes) and SHS RPG videos will be mentioned, along with links to the topics.

If you’re wondering just what “Story” and “Special” webcomics are…well, “Story” webcomics are very short webcomics that continues a story arc, and are made one to three times a week. (Maybe even four if I have the time and/or sprites already)While, “Special” webcomics are very long webcomics focusing on humorous situations and such.

This week, a new story arc begins in the Shadow Stars Chronicles, called “Red Snow”. So far, you don’t really know what it just may be about, but I bet you may have guessed…

If you didn’t know, Call Of Duty 4 is going to replace the Conduit as our third main game, so this Conduit tourney just may be the last one ever. (Unlikely, since CoD4 doesn’t come out for the Wii for about a month, but still) So, I decided to make this tourney a bit more interesting. Well, Lycan has officially moved in at his new uni, so that's good to know. He should be back now; if you haven't seen him, you're either blind, somewhat inactive, or ignorant (most likely the second or third one, since it's impossible to surf the internet blind). Let's see what's happening this week.

---Tournaments---
There's a Pokémon tournament on the 8th, a Brawl tournament on the 9th, another Pokémon tournament on the 10th*, and a Conduit tournament on the 11th. I am changing the Brawl tournament on the 9th from Singles to Doubles. Yes, Doubles. So if you wanna play, look around for a partner. I might move the Doubles tourney to the 10th if the war with WAV is canceled, though (there’ll still be a Brawl Singles tourney on the 9th if that happens).

*The Pokemon tourney on the 10th has been deleted to make room for the war with WAV.

I’ll be heading the Brawl tourney, and the war, but I need people to head the other tourneys.

If you didn't notice yet, the list of tourneys are coming to a close; they end in the middle of October. Well, don't worry; I'm sure Lycan will get on that and list more tourneys. If not, I'll place a bunch of tourneys for a certain length of time myself.

I posted a poll on whatever or not we should have a sub-forum for SHS RPG videos in the web-comic forum. Again, people, it's just a sub-forum to discuss SHS RPG and post the videos. Soon, later on, I'll be heading a special Squads tourney, which is basically a Brawl Doubles Double-Elimination tourney but with Squads making a team of 2 members to enter the tourney. I'll consider potential rewards in order to make this tourney more interesting (not THAT interesting, but nice enough to come on by and play for your squad) and discuss them with the other admins if I must.
