Due to convenience reasons, SHS will no longer be operating on this site! We are now located on facebook and are using discord for the chat. For information, our discord chat is here: https://discord.gg/84ue8Vv. It has been a pleasure meeting and serving everyone on this website, but if we wish to move on, we must start fresh in a new location. I hope everyone understands and we hope to see new and old faces. With all that is said and done, SHS is officially up and running again and we had our first tournament on 2/24/2017!! As discussed, we can still hold the 10 year anniversary party. - Thanks for you understanding! With love, Pijy

...

1+5=5 since when?

It's really not that hard...

1+5=6!

Therefor 1:00 PM EST is 6:00 PM GMT.

Although I really think time zones are just an unnecessary complication.

We aught to all just go by 24-hour GMT... I mean, why does 12 have to be the point when the sun is highest in the sky? No one seems to rise/fall with the sun anymore anyways like they used to have to when they relied on sunlight to work...

1:00 PM EST | 6:00 PM GMT.

also if the way this is going is still a bit confusing I'll simplify it more.

In the first round First and Second from each fight moves on to the second rounds

In the second rounds 1st and 2nd moves on again

In the finals it will be a 4 man free for all 1st place is delared winner

Now on to the people who lost:

The 3rd places from the first round fight for 7th-10th place

and the 2 third places from round two fight for 5th and 6th place

Is it still a bit confusing?

Oh wow.

Cool brackets you got set up.

I had to actually draw it out to see what you meant.

Looks fun and fair!

This is like what you meant, right?

Posted Image

First there are 3 matches with 3 people each. The best two people from each one move on to round 2, which has 2 groups of 3. The best 2 from each move onto the finals, which is one group of 4. Those people come in places 1st-4th.

The loser from each of the starting groups moves into the loser bracket (shown in red.) The best 2 from their fight move on. The losers from round two drop down to join them (dashed red line,) in a 4 way loser's final. They come in places 5th-8th.

The person who loses in the first round of the losers bracket comes in 9th place.

Did I get that right?

Honestly, I don't think I could have come up with such an elegant bracket. I just drew the brackets you described.

Sorry to say it... but my friend just called and he wants me to go over to his house tomorrow.

...

We didn't specify a time...

...

I can't make any commitments that I'll be able to make it to your tournament.

I would have waited until the day of except you had sign ups end long before the tournament starts.

I may still be able to make it, but it doesn't seem likely.
