Due to convenience reasons, SHS will no longer be operating on this site! We are now located on facebook and are using discord for the chat. For information, our discord chat is here: https://discord.gg/84ue8Vv.
It has been a pleasure meeting and serving everyone on this website, but if we wish to move on, we must start fresh in a new location. I hope everyone understands and we hope to see new and old faces. With all that is said and done, SHS is officially up and running again and we had our first tournament on 2/24/2017!! As discussed, we can still hold the 10 year anniversary party. - Thanks for you understanding! With love, Pijy

Were you able to repair it under warranty or something? I mean... those warranties last for a year, don't they? And if you're on you've already broken it 3 times... seems like at least once it would have broken within a year meaning you could get it repaired for free. ... Maybe you should just repair it yourself. ... *moderated for advertising* I wonder if you can buy all the parts for a product and then get the instructions for them all and build it yourself... lol. ... Actually... I seriously wonder if you can get one for half the price of a new one by doing that... and then you just use iTunes and tell it that the OS on it is corrupt and it needs to be reinstalled... iTunes accesses it for you... and gives you the OS... damn... that sounds like a great idea... I wonder how much you can save by just doing that? Edit: Eww, you can't save anything doing that! It's cheaper just buying a new one! I put all the items needed to build a 8 GB iPod Touch (touch screen, logic board and flash drive, screws, cables, and battery) in my cart... came to a total of almost $350. A new one would cost only $300. Yeah, awful idea. 2X Edit: And actually, refurbished it is only $200! The official refurbished ones are more likely to work better than anything you can put together! So you can spend almost double to build it yourself, doesn't include the box and manual and proof of purchase stuff, and it potentially won't even work! Geez, bad idea.) |

Wow... that was the longest off topic post I've ever seen... Anyways I'm sure that you could repair it yourself, it depends on what component has actually broken, and if that has had any knock on effects and damaged any other components, but this is something you would have to turn to the hacking and modding community for, I dont think anyone here has any real expertise in that field. |
