  • Childhood Memories.

Due to convenience reasons, SHS will no longer be operating on this site! We are now located on facebook and are using discord for the chat. For information, our discord chat is here: https://discord.gg/84ue8Vv. It has been a pleasure meeting and serving everyone on this website, but if we wish to move on, we must start fresh in a new location. I hope everyone understands and we hope to see new and old faces. With all that is said and done, SHS is officially up and running again and we had our first tournament on 2/24/2017!! As discussed, we can still hold the 10 year anniversary party. - Thanks for you understanding! With love, Pijy

SMB 3
Donkey Kong Country (1,2 & 3)

I actually started playing games at 3 years old and so I spent a few years on those four games, only later did I really play any others. Ahh the good old days, where the most plot you'd find in games was from the cartoon shows they had lol.

Banjo and Kazooie (and Tooie,)
Jet Force Gemini
Diddy Kong Racing
Goldeneye

... man, Rare was awesome.

A few non-rares...

WarCraft II
StarCraft
Super Mario 64
Super Smash Bros.
StarFox 64
Donkey Kong 64
Kirby 64: Crystal Shards
Rush 64 San Francisco
Spyro 1,2, and 3

And... I can't recall any others at the moment.

... I suppose it's only fair that I list Pokémon Blue since I spent almost a year playing that continuously... I've never played a Pokémon (or any other nintendo hand held game for that matter,) since. I hate it now. I'm not sure what I ever saw in it. Turn based games are lousy IMO... with the possible exception of chess.

yes!!! Metroid ftw!!! although the Prime series is good too i think. but my favs from before than are Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion. as for other childhood favorites, i'd have to say Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Super Circuit, Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, and Donkey Kong 64.
