Due to convenience reasons, SHS will no longer be operating on this site! We are now located on facebook and are using discord for the chat. For information, our discord chat is here: https://discord.gg/84ue8Vv. It has been a pleasure meeting and serving everyone on this website, but if we wish to move on, we must start fresh in a new location. I hope everyone understands and we hope to see new and old faces. With all that is said and done, SHS is officially up and running again and we had our first tournament on 2/24/2017!! As discussed, we can still hold the 10 year anniversary party. - Thanks for you understanding! With love, Pijy

I read this in yesterdays newspaper and above all was quite shocked:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2009/apr/23/apple-iphone-baby-shaker

Now lets try to keep this topic mature and bias free, but do you think that stuff like this is really appropriate for general sale, and do you think apple needs to take more responsibility if things like this get through their filters... after all apple made money off of this atrocity.

Personally, from the point of view of someone who never has, and never will own an iphone, for a number of reasons. I feel that opening up a store to allow pretty much anyone to create and sell their own software was a big step forward in the technology industry, and i'm sure it has created several useful and helpful peices of software to help plug and holes in the iphones software and to allow you to cater your phones usage to your needs, however it should have been obvious that people would have tried to abuse the system in ways they find funny, and thus they should have put tighter moderation and filters on such a store.

I also think this is a warning to the industry as a whole, if for exaple a shoutcast radio was used to broadcast messages supporting terrorists, or ustream was used to broadcast live streetfights, then those companys would be in the firing line, apple was just the first to have found flaws in its system and everyone in the technology industry should use this as a warning to improve there filter systems.

In other news, yesterdays paper also contained an interview with the creator of AVG, who says it'll only be 18 months before mac's need virus protection, personally I agree with him and will say "about time too", but whats your opinion?

Apple is so strict with moderating stuff in the app store, it isn't even funny.

Apps spend weeks in review and get blocked for the silliest reasons.

As a hopeful developer, I've been following all iPhone and Apple news in general for more than a year now. (No, I still don't have anything in the app store. I just can't find the time. Hopefully this summer... don't count on it though.)

I kinda agree with Brandon...not that fun...it's over in two seconds.

Really a wierd concept for an app...don't think there would be a problem with it, but there always seems to be some F***TARD that duplicates anything virtual in real life.

Jack Thompson is celebrating a massive victory right now.
