Could the PS4 stop you from playing used games?

If you join, you will have the choice of joining one of several member-ran groups called Squads, and will be able to take part in regular tournaments to decide whether your Squad will come out victorious. We hold regular tournaments for Mario Kart 7 (3DS), Mario Kart 8 (Wii U), and Pokemon Showdown, with plans to take up both upcoming Smash Bros games as main games.

There are many other great features such as a incredibly in-depth leaderboard, a massive Skype chatroom, many medals to earn, and multiple roleplays to take part in. What are you waiting for? Join the fight!

plz no... what if i buy a game and wanna take it to a friends? I now have to take my whole console... fuck no plz plz plz if gaming goes to this I will find a new hobbie. Um.. like Tom said most of my games are used cause they're cheaper than buying them new. My grandparents usually get me used games as presents since they're cheaper. I mean if they want to start off another generation of systems by not selling them, they can go right ahead. There is next to no viable way of killing the used game market. Sony will be indirectly helping Microsoft out if they do this. There is a viable way...They get all of their competitors to decide to do it too. Then customers are put in a position where they have no choice but at the same time you end up with lower prices. This is something that WILL eventually happen/become the standard(provided something drastic doesn't happen), because the existence of the secondary market gets in the way of sales.
