Welcome to the Shadow Stars Nintendo gaming clan. We hope you enjoy your visit.

You are not currently logged into any account on our clan. If you already have an account, please log in. There are certain features that only members can use.

If you have yet to experience our clan, please take the time to look around and consider if this is the clan for you. If you join, you will have the choice of joining one of several member-ran groups called Squads, and will be able to take part in regular tournaments to decide whether your Squad will come out victorious. We hold regular tournaments for Mario Kart 7 (3DS), Mario Kart 8 (Wii U), and Pokemon Showdown, with plans to take up both upcoming Smash Bros games as main games.

Brendans Pokemon Crystal Nuzlocke!

So today i am going to start a pokemon crystal nuzlocke! I will be explaining where and what i am doing in the game, who has died, and who is on my team. here are the rules that i will be using:

1.Can only catch the first pokemon i see on each route
2.when pokemon dies i have to release it or put it in a box in the PC named "heaven"
3. If the first pokemon that i found on a new route is a duplicate of a pokemon that i already have on my team i can catch the next pokemon that is not a duplicate
4.Cant have a pokemon hold an item unless its already holding an item or has the pickup ability
5.must nickname my pokemon during the run after cartoon characters (any suggestions for my starter cyndaquil's nickname feel free to tell me ^^)
6.I may use the red gyrados if i want to
7. If i already have 6 pokemon on my team and i catch a new one, i will put it in my PC and the first pokemon that dies on my team will be replaced with the pokemon that was caught

Day 1- The beginning of Brendans journey

Well so far so good. I destroyed my rival which i named Clyde, luckily ran into a pidgey and named it raven, and tomorrow im gonna go for the 1st gym badge after training a little bit. At the moment though i still have to get through route 30. i caught my pidgey in route 29. so heres my team so far:

Cyndaquil Lv.8 nickname: AL
Pidgey Lv.2 nickname: Raven

Should've named your Cyndaquil Mufasa (Lion King)

Next pokemon you catch could be Daffy (Duck) or Pluto (The dog) just a few suggestions. Good Luck!

Also forgot to mention it can be anime names too.

Day 2- Training galore

So today i went into route 30 and found a caterpie. I decided on naming it after youngster joey the first REAL trainer that you fight in pokemon crystal besides your rival. I've been training a lot and this is my team so far

Cyndaquil Lv.10 nickname: AL
Pidgey Lv.7 nickname: Raven
Caterpie Lv.5 nickname: Joey

Day 3- Finally made it to sprout tower


Well after tons of training i finally made it to violet city. At the moment im in sprout tower and i just began it. all of my pokemon are in the 10s or higher and no new pokemon yet

Good Nuzlocke so far! I'm glad to see you've been training, because you should always, always take the time to grind. A few extra levels can mean the difference between life and death for your Pokemon.

And on top of that, make sure every single one of your Pokemon is trained up, including the ones saved in your PC boxes. You'll want back-ups and options as you go on in your journey.

not saying that you arent doing a good job, but i usually have a 6 Pokemon team all at level 10-12 before moving on to fight Youngster Joey
