Due to convenience reasons, SHS will no longer be operating on this site! We are now located on facebook and are using discord for the chat. For information, our discord chat is here: https://discord.gg/84ue8Vv. It has been a pleasure meeting and serving everyone on this website, but if we wish to move on, we must start fresh in a new location. I hope everyone understands and we hope to see new and old faces. With all that is said and done, SHS is officially up and running again and we had our first tournament on 2/24/2017!! As discussed, we can still hold the 10 year anniversary party. - Thanks for you understanding! With love, Pijy

They also changed an air attack it seems, his up air. unless thats his normal air that also looks slightly different. He also runs faster which is a good thing. But so far, it may be only a few changes but they look promising, and I love that! :3

Actually there will be connectivity (Transfer customisation or whatever they have in store) There won't however be cross platform play (matches with both wii u and 3ds players) which they never promised in the first place.

The promised connectivity. That's about it. I don't remember crossplay being a thing they said we could do. They also said that the 3ds and the Wii U versions will have the same character list. :(

So far, I'm not sure what the point of both a Wii U version and a 3DS version is. If they'll have the same list of characters, chances are they may have the same list of stages and so on. Personally, instead of scaling down the Wii U version so it'd be about par with the 3DS version (when it comes to characters and so on), I'd just make the 3DS version the portable alternative to the Wii U version, and go for broke on the Wii U version since the Wii U is obviously way more powerful then the 3DS, while giving the 3DS version enough unique features to warrant picking it up (plus, perhaps having one version can unlock special features like stages and characters in the other verson?).

At this point, though, all we can really do is wait and see.

Then what was all that nonsense about understanding that the 3DS isn't as capable as the Wii U and that they'll try their best to keep the same characters list in both games? Or did I miss something? I can't picture anything other then that parts of the Wii U version, or at least its roster, will take a hit because of the 3DS version.

the 3DS isnt as powerful as the Wii U (we know this)
they changed the graphic style completely
(3DS is all sketchy and painty, kinda like SSF4, and the Wii U is the expected HD smooth quality)
there might not be enough space to hold as many/the same characters as the Wii U version in the 3DS version, same with the stages, so they are going the route of putting different stages in the 3DS version to match the resolution/capacity of that version (while not forgetting to do the same for the Wii U, to make it kind of original too), and they might do the same for characters, although they might just take out some characters from the 3DS version and not replace them.

im already forcing myself to main Megaman, as I am a reaaaaaally huge Megaman fan.

only thing that would beat Megaman in my book is the addition of Pacman <3

(which is highly possible, with a cartoon, and 2 games coming soon)

According to some rumors I heard, three other characters we'll see are Pacman, Little Mac, and Mii's as playable characters.
