Larek's flames completely destroyed Albaeran's left fore arm and somewhat disfigured Albaeran's right arm. "That must have been terriblly painful," said Larek with a smirk. "Had I been raised normally I might feel sympathy for you, alas, I was designed to kill. You have put up a much better fight than any of my previous encounters. You're expecting death, I can see it in your eyes."

Larek admired the scenery briefly. "At least, you will have died in a noble battle, against a formidable foe, in a beautiful field of battle. Perhaps the bards will make up a likely inacurate song of this battle when your body is found." Larek was done speaking, he planned to finish Albaeran off now. Larek threw his mace at Albaeran, guiding it with telekenetic magic. After the throw, Larek would pull out his crossbow if Albaeran was not hit and killed. He would finish the fight with ranged combat.

"I also see this as a fitting end." Albaeran agreed. "I will not make it of this battle field. However," He stuck out his left stub, the thrown mace making contact with it. It was already useless, there was no point in risking some thing he needed. "I will see to it that you wont ether," he finished, charging his now unarmed killer. He ran sideways and with valor protecting his head to protect his most vital organs. "For I am a warrior, and there is no death more honorable than that on the battle field!"

Albaeran charged at Larek. Larek shot a crossbow bolt and rolled out of the way. Larek pulled the lever back on his crossbow, it was ready to shoot again. Larek raised the crossbow, at that time he noticed his right leg had been wounded rather badly. Larek ignored that, he would deal with it when he had destroyed his target. He then though, what if this man managed to defeat him? No. He shook that thought from his head. He, the ideal soldier, would not be slain by a one armed warrior.

The crossbow bolt shot true, piercing his side, stopping just short of his lungs. However, Albaeran had already accepted death. The pain was simply a step towards destiny. He jumped, there was no holding back, these were his final seconds, and saw another bolt fly under him. He feigned a kick at the head, and landed on his murderer's shield. His final moments were here.

Larek's confidence rose as he saw albaeran was sure to die. Perhaps he would retreat and let the target die a slow, painful death. Larek decided however, to end him quickly and honorably. Larek walked up to albaeran, crossbow aimed at the head. Albaeran was, by appearance, struggling to survive on Larek's shield. "Any last words, scum?"

OOC: Ok, that doesn't really make any since. your holding the shield, but you walk up to me while I'm balancing on your shield... I'm just going to ignore the hole assault and say you fought it off. Also, you can continue this if you want, Ill just edit my post.

"More a request." Albaeran said calmly. "Stab my sword into the earth, as a monument of my last stand. Perhaps another sole will use it, and my legacy will live on." He than, ironically died of blood loss.
