Wow, someone finally noticed that! Anyways, 42 is the Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything. Also, if the distance from Japan to Korea was divided by 2000, then the result would be 42 meters.

Well I can't think of anything for numbers past 40 off the top of my head, which makes this kind of thing a lot harder.

Well, 43 is a prime number. That's all I can think of. Maybe if I search wikipedia.
