Spar, do you like this song or heard of it? If so, do you like Deep Purple in general?

The loudest band in the world made one of the best driving songs in the world, so I'd be hard pressed not to like them. However I feel that Smoke On The Water is terribly simple and heavily overplayed. I prefer a very large portion of Deep Purple's other songs over Smoke On The Water. I would even gladly take Child In Time, Woman From Tokyo, Space Truckin', Speed King, Soldier Of Fortune, or Black Night despite how commonly they're played.

But obviously I chose Highway Star:

Spar, there's this song that starts with someone just playing C over and over and adds stuff on. Heard it in orchestra class and managed to create an awesome mental rendition of the human village as of Search & Caved and part of the Scarlet Devil Mansion before class ended. Know what it is? I'd like to find it.

I've probably put this up before, but it's hard not to think of it with the Kentucky Derby.
