Its not wobbly, it is gyro stablized, and the pilot is linked to it via a neuro helmet which transfers the pilots sense of balance to the mech, among other things, and 4 of those rocket launchers are fire and forget, the rest are Short Range Rockets.

Now that one is a bit more believable, but it still appears to be quite top-heavy.

I always found mechs to be awesome, but sadly very unrealistic. Two-legged walkers are quite unstable and are just asking to be knocked over in a battlefield.

You seem like a quad pilot.

And I honestly have no Idea how the Draconis Combine manages to balance this ungodly piece of copper loving shit.

Now that one I can actually see being used! And it would be very useful in areas with extremely rough terrain, much like the real-world Big Dog (Hopefully minus the annoying chainsaw sound constantly accompanying it).

The one on top seems rather unstable. But the one on the bottom looks extremely stable, the only problem is that the large cannon on it would be very difficult to aim because it looks like it is unable to pivot. Although that mech seems like it might be well-suited for anti-fortification roles.

Its a very early edition of a gauss rifle, and it does blow the shit out of walls, or other mechs for that matter,
By the way many people hate quads with a vengeance, they have less armor, speed, and weapons then an assualt mech of equal wheight,
and they are so called "LosTech" Like working cupholders for example.

I would go for quads just because of the stability. Extra armor and weapons are useless if your vehicle is lying on the ground. Although, if I could chose any platform for an armored fighting vehicle, I would go with a heavy tracked system that is designed entirely around defense, on the idea of a King Tiger:

Extremely heavy, strong armor (Also with my favorite, forcefields), and a stable platform to aim with thanks to treads.

I never really got the point of walking tanks.
