I had the feeling that link was far worse than it really was. The fact that it crashed my browser first time I opened it did not help. |

I would love to see an admin in a war. Do not do it, please, I beg of you, but it would be funny to see how quickly it would end. |

Wars involving admins usually resolve themselves by the other arguing party saying something irredeemably stupid and the admin facepalming so hard that the argument ends automatically. Arguments between staff almost invariably end with "now that I think on it further, Spar is correct", which is somewhat exasperating for me as I'm looking for a decent debate and Decel and Rick are pretty much the only people here who will compete with me on a topic which I am familiar with. |

Well, I could most likely not join a debate siding you. You are a very intelligent individual, you are very educated on some topics. But, so is everyone. But, the sideline is that you are so stubborn, you convince people to believe you so you can feel correct. Which, usually you are. |

It's not that I try to feel correct. I try to be correct. I like information, so I tend to research whatever topic comes to mind. This often results in me possessing a superior wealth of knowledge of whatever topic the argument is about and dispensing it accordingly. Stubborn I am, and I'm perfectly fine with that. I don't try to convince anyone that I'm correct, as I'd much prefer that people searched for truth all on their own, which I often mention. This makes it interesting when someone unfamiliar with a topic claims something ridiculous, impossible, or otherwise obviously baseless, as I'm often curious as to why they are making such claims, when I have claimed otherwise with plenty of references to prove my claims. |

I appreciate your comment Spar (if indeed I interpreted it correctly) but I think that, while I would put up a fight in a debate, you would almost certainly win. I may not agree with you in matters that I am stubborn about, but onlookers may be swayed by you. |

To prevent another flamewat involving that show, I will rerail the mini topic:
Why not try to debate in topics you are less familiar with? |
