NO. You must calculate the coefficient of friction for the unknown surface using the details I gave you. Both of your answers are wrong, by the way. Calculate it, or I will deduct a point for every question you guess. |

Okay, how much did it weigh? Preferably in kilograms.

You don't need the weight. I tried to do it without weight and failed, until I tried the second time. Question 20! There is a river. Some guy in a boat moves the boat at 153 degrees (assuming the river flows at 0 degrees) and the resultant velocity is 6 meters per second straight across the river (at 90 degrees). What is the velocity of the current? Question 21 The Earth's radius is about 6400 kilometers. If it completes a revolution in exactly 24 hours, what is the speed of a point on the Earth's surface halfway between the equator and the north pole? In kilometers per hour, please. |

Question 20: The current is flowing at 11.77 mps (meters per second, not miles :D) Question 21: I believe the answer is 592.38 kph (kilometers per hour) EDIT: I believe the nomenclature is actually rotation. Revolution means going around something, like the Earth around the Sun. Rotation is spinning. Edited by Brayzure, Oct 14 2011, 09:02 AM.

You get question 20 right, but not question 21. Question 22 A guerrilla fighter is hiding in a makeshift shelter a few yards south of a straight road. A convoy of American vehicles with a M1-A2 Abrams battle tank in the lead is traveling east along this road. The guerrilla fighter knows that the tank has Depleted Uranium plating on the front and sides, and that the best chance of stopping the tank, and therefore the whole convoy, is to shoot the tank in the back where its engine is exposed. The guerrilla fighter decides to aim his RPG-7 at the exact moment the tank passes directly north of him. If the tank is moving at 42 miles per hour, and the rocket-propelled grenade moves at 210 miles per hour, at what angle east of north should the guerrilla fighter aim to hit the tank as quickly as possible? |

Would that be exactly 3 yards away? |

Nope. I'm not giving you the distance from the shelter to the road. The guerrilla fighter was sloppy in his work, and now he must pay by doing difficult trig calculations in his head in a few seconds. |

I do. Though I will still attempt 21. Again. EDIT: 21: 377.12 kph. Edited by Brayzure, Oct 16 2011, 12:21 AM.
