You get question 11 right. For question 12, it's too complicated for my brain to figure out (or I'm too lazy) so I'm going to disregard it and post another question 12. Question 12 In Battleships Forever the Gosling Launcher fires a pink blob that does 100 damage. However, this projectile splits into two pink blobs after a while, and each blob does 2/3s of the first blob's damage. These two new blobs will split again, and each of these newer blobs does 2/3s the damage of its parent. If the target suffers 421.399 damage and all the pink blobs hit, how many blobs are there when the blobs reach the target? Question 13 There is a square. Another square is created by joining the midpoints of the first square's sides together. what is the ratio of the second square's side length to the first square's side length? |

Yay! You got both of them right, making you tied with Spar. Question 14 Using the squares from question 13, find the percentage of the first square that is also inside the second square. Question 15 It took the North Tower 106 minutes after being hit to fall. It took the South Tower 59 minutes. If the North Tower falls 31 minutes after the South Tower, then how far apart were the two towers struck? (This is just basic logic, to give the other guys some chance to answer) |

You got question 14 right, placing you in First Place! I'll give Question 15 another day, and if no one answers I'll skip it like question 7. |

Question 15: 16 minutes. Question 12: I tried doing this, couldn't figure out the formula, even though I know I learned it, and so did 1000 m/s - 9.8 m/s^2 +15m = (1000x - (9.8x^2) + 15) = 102.05581 s, = 204.11162 km, however I don't think that is right. But if it were, the projectile would be 125.0183 m above the earth, after including the curvature, so it would crash .125 second later (.124999), adding 250m (249.999) to the total distance, which would then be 204.36162 km. I did not take into consideration wind drag, nor wind itself. Edited by Camo5, Oct 6 2011, 08:10 PM.

You get question 15, though that was hardly a question at all. For question 12, I already said that I was not counting it. I replaced it with the BSF gosling launcher question. If I bother to figure it out I may use it in a future question. |

Uh, let me think. How about some rotation thingys? Question 16 The hour hand of a clock is 3 inches long. How fast does the end of the clock hand move? In miles per hour. Question 17 A car with 22-inch wheels is driving at 130 miles per hour. How many RPMs are the wheels spinning? Question 18 A minigun has 6 barrels and fires 600 bullets per minute. How fast do the barrels spin? In revolutions per minute. |
