They still wouldn't know much about my magic and, the real guilds would be in their respective areas of the city.

You started already? Meh. If I can I'll join, if I can then whatever. Also, no guests have joined yet, which is weird. They seem so ready to insult registered members, but are reluctant to do something actually fuun and interesting.

Name: Abraham Sterling
Appearance: A short, slightly fat man. Has an ugly face with a few unusual scars, shaped like a Star of David. Also, he has one leg; the other was blown off by a backfiring artillery gun.
Skills: Nothing unusual. He can run very fast if he has to, but otherwise he's a normal person.
Equipment: An uncomfortable metallic vest designed to stop shrapnel, long pants, an old straw hat with a pack of gum inside. Also a old and battered Kalashnikov and four hundred rounds of ammo. A suicide grenade in his pocket, that's it.
Backstory: When he was 14, he was drafted into the army of a minor warlord. He served through a few years of a somewhat casual war, compared to most wars. Then one day an artillery gun mysteriously backfired and blew off his leg. The enemy took advantage of the distraction to swarm into his reinforced bunker and captured him. When he woke up he had those scars on his face, and a gold coin in his pocket. He used the coin to buy a straw hat, and began looking to find his way back home. He's been looking for 30 years.

AVIOR-Runs around like crazy. He eventually hits a tree, but is healed by some random dwarf cleric-in-training girl running around less crazily.

SCIFI-Decides to look for a training center. The training sessions are over for today, which explains the random dwarf cleric-in-training girl running around.

Abraham Sterling appeared near the party. Greetings.

THE UNIVERSE-Continues to be written.
@DWD They're not guilds anymore because you disliked my definition abuse. They're government workers. And please, the city where they are actually based is currently being blown up by offshore cannon bombardment. The unused sanctuaries are actually like large town compounds, situated in a large valley somewhere away from the town, with their own property and points. Complete with servants.

Look, your magic type is unknown, therefore it is a big "I WANNA LOOK AT IT!!!" target for the War Room. Carefully describe it when you use it please. Is your magic system a wild force or an ordered one? Does it use internal energy or an external source? Does it or does it not use physical or verbal/motion-of-caster/focus components? Is it somewhat automatic and is hard to channel or does it come only when channeled? Is it a summoning-filled kind, a spellslingy-kind, an altering-type, what? How does it work? Are there other practitioners that you know of? Do the various, reality-weaving ancient beings of the universe know of it? Is it aligned?

In short, HOW DOES IT WORK?

Or is it so mysterious even YOUR CHARACTER (But not YOU the controlling person) knows what it does?
ME AND EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T PICK AN ACTION OR WAS TOLD TO DO SOMETHING-
Say Hi to Mr. Sterling.

ROCKBOY- You continue making robopirate noises. Seeing as the only ones present that can hear you because you are not sitting in their brains are me, the filmer watching from above, Scifi the heroism commander, and the cleric-in-training dwarf girl can hear you, this is pretty random,
the cleric-in-training dwarf girl giggles for no reason before running off.

MR. STERLING- Do you have a prosthesis leg of any kind, such as a large peg that does not look stereotypical? You look for safe places to stay. The War Room is a freaking ubersecure military compound, the police station has the two best-armed protectors in the present city to the south, there's a medium-size castle with several heavily defended rooms, and the party standing near you which has a mysterious person, several avian people, a ghost that you can't see but passed through your brain making robopirate noises, and an angel archon orb of light, and some others.

Countinue to be a pirate-robot soul spouting things like "Arr!" and "Beep Boop" at random!

Hey, did anybody notice that my skill is running really fast, but I have 1 leg?

Anyways, I'm going to look for a place to stay. Somewhere safe.

Ned there will always be guilds. We have them now but, they're called unions.

My magic has two parts.

One is ordered and, uses it's own language to define what it is you're trying to do and what you're trying to use it on. It can be written or spoken but, any spelling or grammatical errors can cause unpredictable effects.

The other is wild and, uses emotion and instinct to shape it's effects. This half of the magic is particularity hard to use because, you must rely on things you can't control. Do to it's nature this half will always be stronger.

The magic feeds off your physical energy (and any energy you have stored in you're jewelry) but, you can make others (this also includes plants and animals) share the burden by reaching out with your mind. So not only must you have a strong mind like most magic but, also a strong body.

Only those that have the discipline to use the language and, can follow the flow of their instincts and emotions 'with out missing a beat' can truly master this magic.

Guilds are now seperate from the elite thingies. ^_^

So basically, It Tastes Like A Little Bit Of Eragon-Style? But, since that magictype does not run into other systems, how does it interact with other magical systems?

So anyway, where do we want to go? Remember to order around the others, or else we might be stuck with indecision until the roleplay time is nighttime.

Here's some railroady options that you can pick if you want to go elsewhere.
*Go to the War Room.
*Go talk to Lord Daniel in the castle.
*Go talk to the security people.
*Go look for that dwarf cleric-in-training girl.
*Go to this guy's farm.
*Fall asleep.
*Write mentally disturbing fanfiction.
*Stare at the sky.
*Discuss plant reproductive organs.
*Run around like crazy but avoid trees this time.
*Go check in at the hotel inn.
*Get drunk in a bar.
*Go to the government worker houses.
*Think over your backstories and share them.
*Ask me about the area and what exactly I hired you for.
*SHOPPING SPREE!!!

@DWD: Is that the same magic from the Inheritance Cycle?

I don't have a prosthesis leg, I just have a stump. I use crutches to stop from falling over. I will go to the castle.

*sigh*
Remember to specifically order the party with you because I am really bad at noticing your hints to bring the party with you.

We all go to the castle, following Mr. Sterling.

The large blue dragon that belongs to Lord Daniel roars hello before belching a bolt of flame into the sky as it dives into the waters of the reflective pool in the town square. Remember, this castle is equipped with most standard fantasy setting castle equipment and then some.
