Well, you do have to wait for the people in the tank to run out of fuel, and when they get out to refuel you run up to them and take them out with the rock.

You miss the point stupid.
Are they all going to wear metal and earplugs to bed?

If you make the argument they have metal to protect them in the bunkers, id say no.
Concrete is the usual nowadays.

Thick concrete is as good as a thin sheet of metal at stopping microwaves. In any case, a weapon that is only effective against sleeping people isn't a very effective weapon.

Well, then neurotoxins are not deadly at all, because people can use gas masks.
Viruses are not deadly, because we all are SO well prepared for them.

The idea is not that it must happen, and that it could happen.
Just the idea of gas bombings sent london into panic in wwii,
with the ministers handing out gas masks like all hell.

The very idea it could happen is bad and more than enough.
The idea that is will happen. Eventually, with one slip up.

If that doesn't terrify you, then you're lying.

I didn't say microwaves are not deadly, I said they are not effective weapons. Poison gas is effective against unsuspecting or unequipped targets, and I expect microwaves would be as well, if more expensive. Howevet, poison gas wouldn't be your weapon of choice against a modern, informed, well-equipped army, and neither would microwaves.

We have little to no direct defense against viruses, so I don't get your point on this one.

Anyways, I guess microwaves could be effective at killing civilians and unsuspecting unprotected soldiers, but we already have weapons for that: poison gas, cluster bombs, biological weapons, radiological weapons, hell even thermobaryic weapons. All of which are cheaper and easier to use than microwaves, with the possible exception of biological weapons.

True, but microwaves are still effective.
We aren't discussing how effective they are compared to alternatives,
but how effective they are as a weapon.

Especially a weapon like sound, which is only effective at distracting and annoying. Congratulations, you woke your enemies up in the middle of the night with loud noises.

Walrus.
FUCKING FUCK.

Big words.

Why don't we just build a huge bunker, stash food, mass produce my air guns, have guns of all types, and fuck up zombies days.

WHY?
