Amphibian no Jutsu
Rank: D
Hand Seals: Supplementary

This technique grants animal-like accelerated fighting instinct and reflexes to the user. By enveloping their entire body in chakra and moving on all fours, they can obtain high speed movement and reflexes like that of a wild animal. Like the four legged technique of the Inuzaka clan, only except mimicking that of a frog, granting the user webbed feet and an affinity for swimming through mud/stagnant water. Also allowing them to breathe underwater for limited periods of time, for a maximum of up to five minutes.

Water Release: Great Swamp Submerge no Jutsu
Rank: C
Hand Seals: Ram > Boar > Rat

This jutsu when activated transforms any earthen material into murky waterish mud when the user comes in contact with it. Similar to the mole and may fly jutsus it allows for the user to hide underground and spy on a target and when paired with the above it can allow for high speed movement from above or below the earth’s surface

Water Release: Rising Muck Wave
Rank: D
Hand Seals: Tiger > Hare

Pretty basic move using both the water and earth element to create a wave of murky water to crash into or emerge below to sweep the target away. It can be performed at large which is dependent on the chakra and skill of the user, or even multiple waves by doubling the hand seals requirement for each additional wave.

Earth Release: Hardening Spear Break Through
Rank: B
Hand Seals: Several

A simple yet effective move that hardens mud to the density of iron, forming large spears that aim to pierce many targets at once. Again the span and application are according to the user.

Marsh Release: Swamp Clone
Rank: D
Hand Seals: Few

Makes clones out of soil, mud, and stagnant water bearing a striking resemblance to its creator. When attacked with melee the limb and or weapon sink into it, getting caught in the goop which thereafter hardens. Like most clone techniques they disperse after a strike or two.

Marsh Release: Marsh Conservation
Rank:C
Hand Seals: Supplementary

This supplementary jutsu allows the user to change the properties of mud and general muck they are in contact with, and even convert existing water to it via tainting it with their chakra infused mud. Rendering it to liquid or causing to act as fine glue, usable with most marsh jutsus and is considered a staple of the Marsh Village.

Marsh Release: Gunk Shot
Rank: B
Hand Seals: Several

The user shoots a compressed ball of swamp water at an opponent, with enough force and speed to bruise bones. The amount of bacteria and disease in the water has been known to even poison people if they inhale enough. In conjunction with “Marsh Conservation “it can harden and paste an enemy to the ground, or any surface they come in contact with.

Marh Release: Marsh gas
Rank: D
Hand Seals: Supplementary

A displacement technique specifically for Numagakure shinobi, where one causes Marsh Gas to spring forth up from swamp water. The odor alone is toxic to those not accustomed and may result in them becoming sick to their stomachs. The thickness and placement controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it, oddly enough containing a large amount of methane.

Marsh Release: Quick Sand in the form of a Quagmire
Rank: A
Hand Seals: Many
A powerful technique and feared by all those who lived to speak of it. Capitalizing on the sinking property of the marsh, it’s now like fast acting quick sand. Large tentacles crafted out of earthen materials erupt from and further controlled by the Shinobi to drown people and pull them into the abyss.

Marsh Release: Battle of the Sinkhole
Rank: S
Hand Seals: Many

Considered a forbidden technique and for good reason too. It puts an immense strain on the user and because of which is usually performed in collaboration with several Numagakure Shinobi. It erodes the Earth beneath a large strip of land using acidic water by drawing out its diseased properties and amplifying them, through the karst process and creates an unnatural depression in its surface. The result is a massive sink hole threatening to consume everything and make land near uninhabitable.
