Jonathan's Lady
|
It's so great. I was watching the Pilot commentary where the creators talk about the episode as it plays and wow, they really love Jonathan! In fact, they keep saying Jonathan instead of John. "Oh, I love what Jonathan does here" where with Tom they say "Tom does a great job there" lol I guess that's a compliment, that he's so much Jonathan that they call him that without thinking. I didn't know it was John's idea to put the telescope in the scene where Jonathan tells Clark where he's from. He's a mighty smart man ;) They did say one thing that struck me as a wonderful image-- when Clark saves Lex and Jonathan shows up, they were saying the triangle formed in that moment defines the relatioships for the rest of the show. "Jonathan standing between the two Tatan's battling for Clark's soul" I thought that was pretty darn deep. ::sigh:: I'll never suffer from Jonathan withdrawl again. I'll just pop in a disk :) |

Paranoid Schizophrenic!!!!!

Yes, sometimes technology is a wonderful thing! Where I live I'd still be waiting to see season 3 without it! Perish the thought! It's a good job I have my dvd's too, or I'm sure I'd be in withdrawal when it ends in a couple of weeks. We'll all have to have a lil get together on here and reminiscene while it's off air ;) |

Don't mess with JS

I like that part too. It helps you understand the Jonathan-Lex relationship a little better. Two other parts I liked: where they said that John is sort of the leader of the family atmosphere on the set (I forget the exact words), and where they said that someone recognized him as "Jonathan Kent" at the airport and he was so happy that at last he wasn't just seen as "Bo Duke" anymore! :) |
