Well, now you know what hotlinking is. So hopefully in the future, you won't run into this problem again. A good rule of thumb to follow is basically this one: If the image is from someone else's site, then don't just use the img src HTML coding to direct other people to it. If you want to use the img src HTML coding to put the image on a webpage, then first, you need to save/upload the image to *your own server space*. That way, if you're putting the image up on a message board or somewhere, it's being drawn from *your* server space and no one else's bandwidth is getting messed with. Photobucket.com is a great repository for loading pictures and it's free (although the administrators appreciate any donations users want to make to keep it running). You (general 'you') can always get a Photobucket.com (or Yahoo!Pictures or any other similar on-line photo library type service) account, save web images to your own hard-drive and then, upload them to your own on-line photo album and share images that way. That way you can share images without stealing anyone else's bandwidth. It's win-win situation for all involved. |

Yes, now I know and it won't happen again. Thank you for your help. It was very nice of you to offer ideas. I appreciate that. |

I like that pic too of Jonathan and Lana. He really was protective pf her. He was actuially hugging her like a dad would if they are protecting their young. |

I'll try and get a couple more up tonight. I guess I've been kind of dreading trying to make my highly inadequate technical skills work -- but I'll give it my best shot! Oh, and Smallvillian -- I wouldn't call it wrong. |

Good old Google image search -- makes posting at least some of these pictures nice and easy. Here's the fight from "Phoenix," which qualifies for the same reasons as the scene from "Exile," I think. (Not the clearest image, but oh well.) Posted Image |

That fight scene from Exile and Phoenix doesn't make me think of fatherly concern. Jonathan is just trying to get Clark to come home. |

Posted Image Oh my gosh, I actually got Photobucket to work! Suz, you are a GENIUS of a teacher!! (In case no one recognizes it, this is Jonathan giving Kara what-for, which I think is being very protective of Clark.) And some more: Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image (Hope that one doesn't gross anyone out.) And finally, the one I've been trying to post from the beginning! Posted Image |

I don't know why the first picture from "Talisman" is so tiny -- it won't let me fix it -- but you can see what it is, anyway. |

You picked some great ones. The best one for concern is Jonathan and Martha in "Talisman." That is concern if your son is hurt and you sleep all night on the floor just because your worried about him. |

Yay! Glad you got it to work Renee!
:) I am useful for something after all! I love that one of the Kents on the floor with Clark! I think it's so sweet how Jonathan has his hand resting on Clark. Aww! *melts* Not sure why that one is so small either. Is it like that in your photobucket? Where'd you get it? |

No, I can't figure out what's wrong with it. I thought I'd fixed it this morning, but it just showed up tiny again. Guess it'll have to stay tiny. I'm very partial to that sleeping-on-the-floor picture myself. I think the problem with the "Exile" picture (though I still like it) is that, although it shows Jonathan at a very heroic moment, ready to give up anything to protect Clark from himself, just looking at the picture isn't enough to know what's going on if you didn't already. Whereas the "Talisman" picture tells a story in itself. (I like Jonathan's hand resting on Clark too!) |

Aaww! I love them all but the sleeping one gets me the same way! It's like he left his hand there just to be sure Clark was breathing--you know, to feel his chest move up and down as he breathed. |

Oh yeah, and that is such a parent thing to do! I've done that myself with my own son. Aww gawd!! *sniffle* Okay, let me compose myself coz I wanna play too. Here are a few I like: Posted Image Jonathan telling Phalen to leave his son alone - Rogue Posted Image Jonathan saving Clark from Nixon and the kryptonite in his jacket pocket. - Vortex Posted Image Jonathan cradling his son after he got shot - Extinction Posted Image Both parents cradling Clark after he flipped the truck - Slumber I'm sure I could find more, but I'm really pressed for time, and those came to me off the top of my head. I love all the pics that were posted tho! :slogo: |

Those were great ones you picked! I like the one where Jonathan cradles his son after Van shot him. And that one in "Slumber" was a good one too. |
