The "SV" set visit airs sometime in the next hour on the TV Guide channel. (It's 7:00 now where I am.) I've got to go out soon, but I've got the VCR set! (I expect it will repeat in the 8:00 and 9:00 hours.)

Well, that was interesting (some behind-the-scenes talk), disappointing (too much Lana, barely a glimpse of Jonathan), and frightening (people get blown up and torn apart at the molecular level???), all in one!

And how come i don't get the TV Guide channel?????????????????? Never even heard of a TV guide channel! LOL I just get the magazine! I think i'm jealous!! They film down the road from me and they don't let us see the specials! What's up with that???? :p :p

LOL Tonight is not my night for SV! LOL

Too much Lana is fine for me! Though i'd far rather too much TW or JS!

You can't read the spoilers? That's strange, I just typed them normally. I wonder if there's something wrong with the site?

I'll do a transcription if anyone wants. It shouldn't take too long -- the piece was pretty short. Just let me know.

Well, I see the spoilers ya typed. I dunno what's wrong with Gizzy... Sorry.

If you don't mind doing a transcript, that would be great. I'd really appreciate it! (And I'm pretty sure Gizmo would too! ;) )

Thanks a ton Renee! :)

Oh, I don't mind at all. I've done that type of thing before for other boards. And I work at home, so I can easily do it during my lunch break.

Oh, please do! A huggy emoticon would be very useful! :)

Here's the transcript. There was a lot of quick cutting going on during the segment, so it may be hard to follow, but I put in as many details as possible 'cause I knew everyone would want them! All the scenes that they showed took place on the farm, most of them outside.

Reporter: Vancouver, British Columbia, is a long way from here, but it didn’t deter us from traveling to the set of the WB’s “Smallville” for the series’ season finale. And it turns out the show is going out with a big bang. But when you’re Superman, you’re used to the big stuff. Here’s more.

(Shot of TW and KK filming. You can see the cameraman and crew.)

Lana: I was wondering if you would mind being my super-shuttle?

Clark: Well, I mean . . . sure.

(Shot of Clark talking to his parents in the kitchen. We get one clear look at Martha looking upset, but only a sliver of the back of Jonathan’s head. [Transcriber’s note: ] A moment later it cuts to Krypton Girl looking out the window.)

Reporter voiceover: “Smallville” chronicles the life of a teenage Clark Kent as he discovers his superpowers while dealing with teen angst.

(Shot of Clark and Lana talking.)

Reporter voiceover: The third season ends with Clark once again trying to save the world while dealing with his feelings for Lana Lang, played by Kristin Kreuk.

Lana: Clark, if you have something to say to me, say it before I’m gone.

Clark (long pause, deep breath): Lana. . .

Lana (spotting someone): Who’s that?

(Shot of KK talking to interviewer. This alternates with a shot of Clark and Krypton Girl and another shot of Clark and Lana.)

KK: Lana is leaving for Paris. . .

Krypton Girl to Clark: She really does love you.

KK: She’s kind of just trying to close things up with Clark and tie up these loose ends that are there with them.

Krypton Girl to Clark (as he walks away from her): Don’t let it upset you, Kal-El.

(Shot of TW talking to interviewer.)

TW: The first season was so crazy, I literally don’t remember the first season. I can watch the whole first season on DVD and each story’s new to me. We had 20-hour days, we had six-day weeks.

(Shot of TW filming a scene alone.)

Reporter voiceover: So how does the show’s season finale end? Tom gave us a little hint.

(Shot of TW talking, alternating with shots of TW and KK filming and crew members watching.)

TW: Well, at the end of this season, a lot of our characters go away in one way or the other. Some of our characters get blown up, some of our characters get torn apart on a molecular level. [Transcriber’s note: ] So everybody goes in different directions. We don’t even know how they’re gonna come back next season, if they’re all gonna come back.

The following captions were playing at the bottom of the screen during all this. (Some of them fall under the heading of “duh!” but I wrote 'em all down anyway.)

“The producers looked at over 1,000 actors before choosing Tom Welling to play Clark Kent”

“Kristin Kreuk plays Lana Lang”

“'Smallville' is filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia"

“Tom Welling plays Clark Kent”

“Tom got his big break playing Amy’s young boyfriend on ‘Judging Amy’”

“When the show resumes, Clark and Lana will be seniors at Smallville High”

“Tom was a model before becoming an actor”

“‘Smallville’ airs Wednesdays on the WB”

Torn apart at a molecular level huh? Sounds very much like a Star Trek transporter :lol or maybe a trip through the Stargate? :p

I darn well hate cliffies...

Thanks for sharing this, we get so little SV stuff here in the UK :D
