Jonathan's Lady

Well *the* actual Starman returns but takes the form of a different man and finds his son. The son and the dad try to find the mom--who people thought was crazy because she thought her baby's dad was an alien so he was removed from the home or something like that... I think. I never saw The Pheonix--sounds pretty familiar though  I do know TWoK though! :hyper: |

It's like a twisted game of "Six Degrees of Separation"! I think I got the "GAH" caption. It was a show about a guy who could fly, wasn't it? |

Well, if you could call what he did "flying". It was a story about a teacher who was given a "magic" suit by aliens. Putting on the suit gave this guy super powers. But, he lost the instruction book. So, he had to figure everything out for himself. It was pretty funny. |

His flying was.... I wonder whatever happened to it. It must be somewhere. It used to be in reruns. They should show some of those shows instead of the same four in reruns all the time :p |

Wonder if there is a John Schneider/Star Trek connection? With the classic series or movies. That would totally ROCK! :lol |

Wasn't Scott Bakula in "Star Trek," too? John sang with him at the Kennedy Center Honors last year. Or am I thinking of a different show that Scott was in? I don't know my sci-fi very well! |

Well, Kirstie Alley and John being in something else together would count for a "degree of separation". I was hoping that John actually had a guest spot in something Trek.. Scott Bakula is the current captain in the latest series Enterprise. You know, there is the Kevin Bacon game. Maybe we should have a John Schneider game! |

John's only 44 and his first real break was in Dukes so not much chance of him being involved in the original ST unless in the movies and we know he wasn't in those. I'm up for some Schneider gaming ;) |

Uh-huh. Sure. Right.
 Moving right along (and keeping things in PG-13 territory ). . . . May I kick off the game with a suggestion? John's portrayal of Jonathan reminds me a lot of another actor I love, and he's even got the same initials as John. So . . . how many degrees between John Schneider and Jimmy Stewart? (Do you want me to start a new thread for this, by the way?) |
