we seem to be a big smallville family here,and we loads of fun.so how about we share our daily events, interest,good news,bad and angry rants for the day. :soapbox: i'll start. i went to church with a friend,for the first time in my life i convince a cathlic to come to a baptist church with me. :D my computer went wacky with the norton firewall.a popup comes up for the internet access.but the start button and the desktops are gone.can any comp geek out there help. :beg: |

Cool idea for a thread. Sorry, I'm not good with resolving computer issues. This is the first Easter in forever that I have not attended church. I ended up sick after working 84 hours last week so I decided to stay home. (I also attend a Baptist church.) I'm involved in the choir, drama, missions, and children's curriculum. I'm not doing much of anything today--just curling up with my kitty and sleeping to get rid of this nasty cold. My mom has a cardio-inversion procedure tomorrow to try and get her heart back in sinus rythmn so your thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. |

i'm such a dunce. :wall: i restarted my computer and the problem went away.i swore it has virus.its a good thing i didn't call a tech guy.thaat would have cost me 60 dollars that sounds good curling with a kitty snarky.i heard cats bring down high blood pressure. :D |

I went to church this morning. (I also attend a Baptist church.) Then I was hiding Easter eggs with my 4 year old nephew. Snarky I hope everything goes alright with your mom tomorrow. :grouphug: |

I went to church today (Baptist) . I performed with the handbell choir. We had some nasty weather where I live yesterday. I just had a bad thunderstorm come through my town but some places had hail and tornados. Oh, and my computer crashed at work last week. So, I had to use my boss's who was on vacation last week. The home office is rebuilding me a new one and it should get there Monday. It crashed last Tuesday. I also helped babysit the lady I work with 4 year old grandson last Tuesday while at work. Her daughter was sick and it was storming and she couldn't take him to daycare so she brought him to work. I went to cartoonnetwork.com and played computer games with him. :D I was bit a tired when I got home that night. |

Me too, Snarky! Actually, I was supposed to go out of town but came down with a sore throat, so I didn't go on my trip OR to church -- just lounged around all day. Strangest Easter ever! :D (I figure last night's Easter pageant might count as church, though.) I go to a Bible church -- but it used to be a Baptist church! :D That was long before I started going there, though. |

How funny, no wonder we have so much in common. My mom's procedure went really well. They were able to use a low amount of current to shock her heart and only had to do it once...yay! (She had it done in 2003 and it took 4 shocks at a high jolt.) I've still got this nasty cold/congestion thing today, but as long as I take it easy for a couple days I'll be bouncing around again in no time. Thanks for all your prayers! :grouphug: |

Glad your mom is doing okay, Snarky. When I went out to get some dinner a little while ago, there was a little tiny baby bunny huddled next to the back tire of my car. I tried to move it out of there so I wouldn't run over it, but it went back to the tire when I set it down. Then the next time I tried, it finally ran over to the schoolyard across the street. I didn't think to take a picture of it though until afterwards. Too bad my nieces would've loved to have seen it... |
