What was the point of removing Lionel's shoes? That seemed pointless to me. Also does it seem as if the Lexana is going through a repeat of the Clana from season two and three where Lex and Lana tried to forget that they kissed? That seems like the end of season two and "Legacy" from season three. Surely they don't think we're so stupid that we don't remember those moments from the Clana!

He removed Lionel's shoes as a way to torture him more... That floor was pretty darn hot...

What I don't get is why was lana playing Chess with Lex. Since when has she had,any interest in the game. I think they just did that scene,so lana would be in the eppy.

i think the chess game was just symbolic of al the games, manipulations that lionel and lex use on people.

I goof I noticed was at the beginning with the train. When Lion-El escaped, he ran with the direction of the train - putting him in direct line of the debris. If you can't run away from the tracks (which he could have), you really should run towards the train so you don't get smacked by broken car pieces.

I’m no science major but I thought CK catching the elevator like that would have still killed Lionel & Martha anyway cuz the height/velocity of that elevator in motion and the impact with CK hands would have been the same as if they hit the bottom, also there were no hand prints of the impact on the bottom of the elevator.
What would have been cool was if CK leaped up to meet the elevator half way slowing its velocity and floating down to a slow stop. Now that would have been a cool effect.

he can't fly yet... he hasn't mastered it:

Clark: Kal-El can fly. Clark Kent is still earthbound.

yeah, superjump... what goes up must come down... without flight gravity would pull him down... so he needs to stop acting like a baby and learn how to fly!

umm...about the flying didn't Clark fly in reckoning when he flew with Lana. Im pretty sure it doesn't look like jumping because he didn't bend his knee's or something. Maybe he doesn't fly because he doesn't want to expose himself.

But back to the goofs, when Clark and Chloe were talking about Lionel knowing his secret at the Daily Planet, Clark mentioned that his mother never showerd up at the meeting in Metropolis...aren't they in Metroplois already?!?!?! he was talking as if he was somewhere else.... :slogo:

I think the show should begin to call itself "Metropolis" because now there is more action in the city than in SmalVille
