:thud: Oh sorry
:X …it was kinda hard to stay awake thru this episode
:X . Let see, oh boy :hyper: …hmmm :bidea: …” Ten things I haven’t seen before”:  1. A FOTW episode 2. Chloe being Clark’s info bloodhound 3. Lana kissing and obsessing over another guy 4. Clark fixated on Lana 5. Lex being underused 6. Poor writing for Lex’s character 7. No character development on any of the main characters 8. An episode that had the same FOTW as in season one (Shimmer) 9. Clark acting like a dingbat & whining 10. Cheap tricks with no common sense to them (Lois coming out of the shower and not grabbing a towel first) These are the ten things that I haven't seen before…"NOT" Overall a “C-“ for a lack of originality :/ , putting me to sleep :thud: and for so much predictability that even this review is the same as a lot of my others. >D |

Gotta Love That Good Old Smallville Feeling <3
|
I still laugh whenever I think back to the early season promos "Everything You've Waited To See" This season in my opinion is everything I hoped I would never see :wall: This episode I thought was very boring and typical like Knight said...not much else to say. |

I was disappointed in this episode. Another shower scene, at least it was Lois. She opens the door naked and Clark says nothing?? Graham tells Clark not to let someone get in the way of him and his love-isn't that what Lex told him about Whitney?? The Lana love roller coaster, Clark enough, I wish this show had a Gibbs(NCIS) Clark needs a wake up slap in the back of his head. I've read fan fiction on other sites that have better writing. Come on!! |

Hmm... two more episodes until the finale. I would have hoped for something more than your basic FotW episode. There were actually some parts I didn't mind in this one. At least it wasn't a blatant rip off of something else (except for another Smallville episode). There were a couple of good moments. Like when Clark told Chloe that she doesn't know what it's like to see someone you love in the arms of someone else. The look on her face...I was thinking, "Yes, she does, you idiot! She saw you and Lana together." And at least Chloe didn't go all super-tech this episode. It's OK sometimes, but they were doing it a little too much. And, Chloe gave Clark some good Superman advice at the end. If you save people, you save people. You ask questions later. Lois was pretty cool. I would imagine that Cheif of Staff for a Senator would be a good way to get your name known. It might be helpful when you are trying to get a job at a high-profile newspaper. And some good allusions to the future when she said that Mr. Right may be right in front of her and she will miss him. Oh, and sheltiemom... I would imagine that if I opened a door and Lois was standing there naked, I might be at a bit of a loss for words too. OK. So at the very end, Lana says, "It's over. It's your choice." Does that mean we won't have to see any more Clana loft scenes? Because I can think of a few better things to put in the show for 10 minutes. Here's hoping. And only a small hint of Brainiac intrigue. How disappointing. Oh, well... might as well cram it all into one episode rather than make an interesting, multi-episode story arc. Basic FotW, basic Clana, and a lot of other basic stuff. But enough shining through to make it the best of the past 3 episodes (which really isn't saying too much). So, I'll give it a basic 2. |

It was an average episode. It was a decent set up for finale. The viewer was required to suspend reality a little too much tonight in order to make a couple scenes more dramatic, but it was still better than past episodes. I liked the Martha/Lois scene. Touching with a little humor. We got to see a brief glimpse of the Lois who longs to be part of a loving family. We got a peek at Martha's past and how she too, was a little wild in younger years. I loved that Clark finally showed how proud he was of Chloe's accomplishments and acknowledged that she is a true friend regardless of how insensitive he is. It was nice to finally see him returning the support a bit and not just lamenting how terrible it is to be without Lana. I am so unhappy with the writers for portraying Clark as an IDIOT. Since when did stupidness become a super power?! Naivety does not equal stupid. Clark can retain the innocent belief in humanity without being a complete and total fool. The writers must to a better job with this or the few fans Clark has left may not stick around for the ending finale. |

To be honest, if I thought there was an intruder, I'd forget about the towel too. Besides, draping the towel around her would seriously hinder her ability to kick ass thoroughly. |

Well I guess some are more modest than others  but if she was a street fighting expert, marital arts knowledgeable, army brat self defense skilled, you don’t leave your two thousand and two parts exposed for it to be used against you. :headache: :P: I know they were trying to go for the comic route with this but what could have been more comical if they showed her making the towel into a tunic in like 10 seconds flat, like a survivalist and then be ready to kick butt. The scene fell flat cuz Clark/TW had no reaction like what Sheltimom said... so to me it was pointless. |

I thought the same thing about Clark seeing Lois naked. I would have grabbed a towel. How much more smut do we have to look at between now and the season finale? I actually liked what Lex said about Lana respecting Clark. He hasn't said anything good about the kid in a long time. The freak of the week was kind of lame. It was like season one's "Shimmer." I didn't like Lana though. It seemed unfair for her to say to Clark some of the things she said. I know Clark was less than honest with her, but he wouldn't lie about Lex. He was friends with the guy. He knows what Lex is capable of. Also Clark has never lied to her about a bad relationship and has saved her a few times. I think she should trust him on this and not say in a sarcastic tone that Clark wasn't honest when they were dating. I liked Chloe and Lois tonight though those two saved the episode. |

well you may think im a little dull but i thought this episode was Alright, but the season is close to ending they should be getting closer to the main ending of the season but i guess they'll do that next week with Brainiac. But my main point would be im getting really sick of Lana and i practically hate Lex now, i used to think they could settle their beef and stray away from the original storyline. But now I hope clark beats the sh** out of him next week when they have a confrontation. You never steal your friend or ex-freinds ex-girl. anyways hopefully next week will be an A+, later ppl |

I swear they did the naked Lois bit, just to go full circle. First Lois saw Clark in "Crusade" now Clark's seen Lois. The minute Lois stepped out of the shower. And grabbed a weapon heading for the door. I was like: What your not going to grab a towl first. The whole naked issue is in overdrive this time. They've done it with Lana, then Chloe in Tomb, now Lois. They really need to stop it they are tainting the mytology. |

It does seem as if the writers and not Clark have splashed down from another planet. Do they really think we enjoy the sex-material that much? I liked "Smallville" in the first three seasons when the episodes were fairly clean except for a few and the good guys didn't approve of the sexy. What happened to the writers? Did they all take stupid pills before the fourth season? Boy, this is turning into a rant! |

Looking back now Al and Miles have gone against their own rules. In an interview for one of the Smallville comics.Sometime after Season 2 Al or Miles said "Our show is different from Dawson's Creek,Dawson's Creek is about sex. Smallville is about love and will stay that way." Since Season 4 started they've gone against this principal.Which i'm not surprised success has boosted their egos. And when that happens they change from before their series began. Now they think if they are going the "sex sells" approach. They are doing this simply because they want to be sure. That Smallville will stay on the air, because in late Season 3.They almost lost the program because almost half of thier ratings died.Because of Clana which eveyone hated. I'm shocked that lana's even giving Lex a chance let alone date him.Back in "Hidden" lana jumped down lex's throat. Saying that he doesn't deserve Clark's belief that people can change. And now lana's doing to Clark what she did to Lex. |

Well the episode was not too bad but obviously not the greatest one for being the third last eppy in the 5th season. If you are Al or Miles you obviously want to make Smallville last as long as possible. The episodes main focuses (although not highly indepth) were between Lois and Clark and Lana and Lex. They are taking baby steps into the whole Clark falling in love with Lois thingy. As for Lana Lex, I think that they are together for a reason. This is just my speculation. Heres why: Lana is probably seeing Lex only because she is protecting Clark's secret. Lana is not a dumb girl. In the comics Lana doesn't find out or admit to her self that Clark is Superman until he meets Lois. I think she knows what Lex is up to since he is still obsessed over Clark. She did do all that research and witness a lot of strange things including the ship that fell from the sky. So I think she is ultimately proctecting Clark. I forgot what else I wanted to add... But overall a more on the lamer side of Smallville different FOTW same great FOTW lameness, they can just pull out a FOTW fro ma hat and say hey, we got a new eppy!!! Thats all folks!!! :slogo: :slogo: :slogo: :slogo: :slogo: :slogo: :slogo: :slogo: :slogo: :slogo: |

Just a quick correction here. In the comics, Lana has known for a very long time. The day that Clark himself found out that he was not from Earth, he decided to leave Smallville and go put his powers to good use. But first, he went to say good-bye to Lana. And that was when she found out...when Clark scooped her up and they went flying around the world - him showing her the things he could do. It was about 3 years after that night that he and his parents came up with the actual costume. |

No offense meant to anyone who likes Lana, but I don't think she's all that bright. She may have been in the comics, but the show makes her out to be kind of dumb at times. Maybe it's her selfish attitude at times that makes me think that. Or the fact that Clark has saved her from the wrong guy before and she just thought he was jealous. When Tina morphed into Whitney and when Ian nearly killed her and Chloe, and Magnetic Boy was using her are the instances I can think of, but she must have the memory of a flea, because Clark was right about all of that. After those three instances I would trust him about Lex. Like I said before Clark knew Lex a little better than Lana. He knew what Lex has done to girls he had been in love with. Just a chance that Clark may be right? But then again she did not even listen when Chloe tried to tell her two episodes ago. The sooner Lana leaves Smallville, the better. She's just not a very good friend to have. |
