Some of the episode was lame tonight. Clark blowing the clouds away like the big bad wolf was one example. Except for that one scene with Lana and Clark she wasn't too awful. I actually was angry at her for jumping Clark like that when he said he wanted to help and then throwing that whole "You knew Lex was doing that before Zod took over" bit. Lana, shut up! if Clark came to me and I was Lana and he said he was trying to save my boyfriend (who didn't deserve it) I'd be glad to accept his help. or I would be madder at Lex than Clark. At least Clark didn't videotape her changing. I just hate it that Lana gets so self-righteous at times. did anyone notice the tip off to Lois being a bad speller? I also missed Jonathan tonight. he could have really been able to help Clark with his superbreath. I give the episode a B- Besides some of the plot it was okay. I don't know if I like Oliver Queen yet.

Look up and then tell me that boy is not hot!
I liked this episode better then Zod. I loved Lois bringing out her inner reporter! Woohoo! :woohoo:
The Superbreath was awesome but Jonathan not being there to help Clark through it sucked.
The Lexana is making me gag but then again when did it not? Lmao
Lana was being her total bit**y self...She needs a good smack across the head!
Overall the episode got a 7 to 8 out of 10 for me. :)

Bless ya CK but… what no snot  …now that would have been super funny :sly: .
It was just mediocre. I was bored :o: in some spots and it had its funny moments in others :P: .
I wasn’t impressed by Ollie, I hope that gets better. The episode seemed very slow…yawner
Now they got Lex being freaky as a voyeur. That’s not what I want to see :shades: …where is the bad guy…all we get... is him getting shot again :kgun3: , again :kgun2:, and again :melt: . Lex has got more holes in him than Swiss cheese :shakehead: . I think they’re losing focus on Lex’s character with all this Lexana stuff :/ .

Over all it didn’t "blow" me away…I give it a C :grumble:

I liked this episode but Chloe was not my favorite person in this episode, sure she was side tracking Lois but there was no exuse Chloe to treat her cousin like that, who has helped her.

The CW's Official Description: CLARK DEVELOPS A NEW SUPERPOWER — Clark (Tom Welling) works hard to clean up the destruction done by Zod and develops what he thinks is his first cold. However, he soon discovers it is a new power – super breath! Lois (Erica Durance) lands a job at The Inquisitor, the local tabloid, and Lana (Kristin Kreuk) moves in with Lex (Michael Rosenbaum, who believes someone is following him, which quickly proves to be true after he is kidnapped.

My Thoughts: Im really glad that Clark finally developed his super breath power, but I cant lie I kinda expected more from this episode. I enjoyed all the funny moments with Clark and Chloe because I love those two together, but I guess I just wanted abit more explanation as to why Clark got this power instead of just saying that he got a sudden cold he may have picked up at the Phantom Zone or what ever. I dunno, maybe they did explain more and I missed it. Still some nice effects and I found it humorous how Tom’s face looked when they slow motioned him taking a deep breath before blowing the door down. I loved that! lol. I also loved the ending scene when Clark and Chloe were smiling together after Clark blew the dark clouds away from the sky.

Im glad that the Smallville writers are finally starting to direct Lois Lane in the proper direction. Its good to see that she not only wrote and enjoyed it, but also that she was most happiest when she wrote something and investigated a story and all. That showed abit more light as to what is to come with Lois Lane in her future in the Daily Planet.

Once again Lana annoyed me this week. Its true what Clark was telling Chloe about both of them not even being able to talk or even know each other anymore. I know Lex seems to be abit more honest to her, so she may respect him for that, but her character has completely changed and she just seems overly annoyed by Clark now. Even when he tries to help its still not good enough. Its come to the point that if Lana dies off the show she wouldn’t be missed. However I think if she would have died in the 100th episode, she would have been missed more.

I was kinda hoping that Clark would have blown Lana against a wall or something by sneezing, but it didn’t happen. lol. I still don’t like her with Lex either, it just seems weird. Im surprised she didn’t storm off after she found out that Lex video tapes her getting undress and all. Which by the way, that reminded me of the movie that starred Sharon Stone called, “Sliver”. Then again, I was also surprised that Lana didn’t put on a big grin and tell Lex, “Don’t worry baby…I like that. Its kinky” lol. Seriously, when she was seeing herself it seemed like maybe she was no longer upset with the idea of him watching, but I guess that was just me that thought that.

Was it just me or did the guy that held Lex hostage look like he could not be taken seriously? I just had to laugh when I saw him because I remember him from “Scary Movie” grabbing a boot in the street screaming, “Where’s the foot?!”. He has been in to many comedy movies to me. He seems more like the lackey for a bad guy, not the other way around. None the less the bigger story here is that Lex’s whole kidnapping was plotted by none other then Justin Hartley. It should be interesting to see what develops in the upcoming weeks with his character. All I have learned is that the man can basically shoot a arrow in the air from a super far distance. lol. I saw him in Aquaman and thought he played a good role, even though he is here now I wish he was still swimming under water each week on The CW. Oh well…

What else from this episode…I guess that’s about it. Clark blew the fire out and one of Justin’s guys noticed that someone else has some kind of super power. Im guessing Clark will be discovered by Justin soon enough then. Next week seems like another Halloween party type episode. Should be good.

I kind of liked this episode. It wasn't the best in the world and i really missed Jonathan. I thought it was funny that Lois finally found her niche in life for writing. I did catch the bit about her horrible spelling. That was great. I thought it was sweet how Clark blew away the clouds. Oh I could totally see that Clark was going to put out that fire with his breath.

You know, I don't think that Lionel is back to being all good. I think that the MB is still in there. Did you see how he threatened Oliver? I'm keeping a wary eye on Lionel, I've never trusted him, and i'm not about to any time soon. I'm still mad at him for what happened at the end of Reckoning.

Lex is getting more and more creepy. Spying on Lana in her bedroom? He's becoming more like his MB father every day. The Clana sickened me as well.

It was OK. But that's it. Frankly, I've kind of been disappointed with this season, this show is going nowhere fast.

This episode was also entertaining, I have liked both. Im surprised no one has commented yet but where was Jimmy, i mean James? Also, next weeks episode looks really cool. Oliver hasnt thrilled me yet but it was cool how he was like " Borneo" and shot the arrow and it hit borneo on the daily planet. That was pretty cool. Ever since season 3 it seems like the seasons are pretty lame, with the exception of a few episodes. This season at least they have been enjoyable, to me anyway. Although I have to say, ever since Supernatural came out, I look forward to Supernatural on thursdays more than Smallville. Also, Lex has to stop getting shot. That is like soooooo old now. Also, spying on lana, a tad stalkerish dont yah think.

OHHHH yah, what happened to the Phantoms?

Yeah I know what you mean, I was kinda feeling the same way, but I figure its going to get better since its only two new episodes so far. Atleast I hope anyway.

Supernatural thus far has been great this season and I kinda felt the same way and believe me I never feel that way at all, but yeah....I see what you mean, only for me take away Supernatural and add the TV show "Prison Break". :pfft:

Anyways, I have confidence that Smallville will get better. I have loved this show since day one. Im hoping this season gets better it has too. Oh and honestly I didn't even miss Jimmy this week. Dont know what happened to the Phantoms, but they shall return and when they do they will probably cover one Phantom at a time to battle Clark or something. I dunno.

It wasn't the best epidode, but parts of it still put a huge smile on my face. :hyper: Like when Clark was about to sneeze and Chloe jumped on her papers, and he said, "Just kidding". I thought that was really cute, and so Clark-like.

I'm not impressed with the first two episodes, but i'm still gonna be a devoted fan. No matter what. :slogo:

THE REAL SUPERMAN!!
This episode had the potential to be really funny, especially with Clark blowing off the barn door with his sneeze, etc. Too bad that the writers didn't follow up on it.
Ollie is bland, Lex has used up his nine lives, and Lana. . .who is she going to mooch off of now if she leaves the mansion? Again with her sharp wit, Lois saved the day for me.

And can they please stop messing with Lex's head? Seems like he's the most abused character on the show! Some of these scenes have been really unsettling in the past, especially the ones where they dealt with electroshock treatments. I really hope they stear away from this type of "brainwashing" in the future.

I had hoped for a return to those beautiful Argentine waterfalls with the escapees from the Phantom Zone. Oh, well, there's still time to make some changes. Hopefully,. . .

Now why is Lionel concern for his son when he had Lex thrown into a mental ward, and fried his brains? or does he finally wants to join forces with Lex for a more diabolical(sp) purpose? after all, Jor-el's influence is gone. So maybe MB wants to conquer the world with his son's help.

Lionel and Lex ruling the world :/ :wall:   anyway, I thought it was funny how in Zod he was like : Martha give me the dagger, I dont mind killing Lex... uh... i mean Zod...." and now he is like " Oliver stay away from him or else suffering will have a new meaning to you" or something like that. It is incosistant writing or he has like dual personalities or something ( ohh wait, that is the girl in heroes :D )

Seen the beginning Lionel has literally hated his son now he wants to be the father of the year? but than things did change when he learned Lex didn't kill Julian, still I think Lionel's days are numbered. We can't have to MB running around.

You know it might actually happen, having two MB around. I think that would be great seeing both Lionel and Lex going at it trying to outdo each other. That would be so fun to watch I think...

I think it was consistent with his character, I mean Lionel only wants Lex to suffer if he gets to make him suffer. He's always been protective of Lex to a certain extent. I remember got angry at Chloe for putting Lex in her Wall of Weird fles. Lionel will only put Lex though bad stuff for his own agendas. In this episode though I saw it more as Lionel caring about what knowledge Lex might have shared about superpowers, or Clark's secret. I assume, Lionel wants to exclusively contain and control that information. Clark at first only seemed to care about the information as well, which isn't very heroic. But, at least, Lana called him on his selfish motives. Actually it was pretty stupid how no one (including Lana the devoted girlfriend) called the FBI or police, but then again the government might be angry at Lex for storming the Pentagon. I'm suprised Lex hasn't been arrested yet and taken to an Area 51 type of place.
