It was OK. But that's it. Frankly, I've kind of been disappointed with this season, this show is going nowhere fast.

First of, DennisQuaid - how well can you actually judge a season with a bit of 20 episodes, over 2 episodes? :waggle: :scratchhead:

Anyways, the episode was okay. It made me laugh quite a bit, but the episodes - to some time - got boring. This insultment on Lex being tortured God Knows how many times is really a question to put answers on.
When Clark had to sneeze, at the Daily Planet, I started to giggle. :heehee:
Oh yes, also the time when he was kidding with Chloe. :coolyo:

I didn't think Ollie made a good thing outta himself, it's not like he didn't get the chance to do either... :/ But heck, everytime a new one enters in any show I'm never impressed by first scene. Hardly the second one now so. :faint:

It's an 7/10. :bounce:

I think it was consistent with his character, I mean Lionel only wants Lex to suffer if he gets to make him suffer. He's always been protective of Lex to a certain extent. I remember got angry at Chloe for putting Lex in her Wall of Weird fles. Lionel will only put Lex though bad stuff for his own agendas. In this episode though I saw it more as Lionel caring about what knowledge Lex might have shared about superpowers, or Clark's secret. I assume, Lionel wants to exclusively contain and control that information. Clark at first only seemed to care about the information as well, which isn't very heroic. But, at least, Lana called him on his selfish motives. Actually it was pretty stupid how no one (including Lana the devoted girlfriend) called the FBI or police, but then again the government might be angry at Lex for storming the Pentagon. I'm suprised Lex hasn't been arrested yet and taken to an Area 51 type of place.

What you said about Lana is true. I give her that. Clark was saving Lex for selfish reasons, but Lana shouldn't be the one to talk about selfish motives. Or she shouldn't be the one to talk about Clark keeping secrets from her. The girl has done things for selfish reasons. Moving to Paris and wanting to find out about the meteor showers were kind of selfish reasons. And when she goes on one of her tangents about people telling the truth she should take a long look at herself and realize how much of a hypocrite she is. She says 'tell me your secrets, but I can't tell you mine.' I understood her last season when she got mad at Clark for outright lying, but right now in her Queen Lana mode she doesn't deserve to know Clark's secret. And like I said earlier I'd be madder at Lex than Clark. At least Clark never peeped at her naked via video camera. And Clark saving Lex may have been for selfish reasons, but even though he shouldn't, I'd take help for my boyfriend where I can find it.

Well Clark never peeped at her naked with a video camera but I seem to remember him spying on her and Whitney every night with his telescope  ;)

Hi All
I know the psycho guy that was holding Lex hostage was on a previous Smallville episode as another character. Can you tell me which episode it was? Thanks!

I did think that Ollie’s crib was from the old Birds of Prey series though... :P:

My DVR messed up and didn't record this episode because it didn't recognize the CW's HiDef channel yet. Anyways I was wondering if any of you knew anywhere that I could download this episode for free without joining a P2P group or watch streaming video of it for free. Sucks that it's not available on itunes.

  • Download or streaming?

It wasn't the best epidode, but parts of it still put a huge smile on my face. :hyper: Like when Clark was about to sneeze and Chloe jumped on her papers, and he said, "Just kidding". I thought that was really cute, and so Clark-like.

I'm not impressed with the first two episodes, but i'm still gonna be a devoted fan. No matter what. :slogo:

I'm so agree with you! This episode was funny! :D
But i really miss Jonathan in the show. :(
