Can't Stay Away
I give it a B+. The freak was a little lame and the Lexana got on my nerves. Lana with Chloe stopping Linda Lake wasn't so terrible, but when Miss "Secrets and Lies" got into a hissy fit because Chloe knew Clark's secret I wanted Chloe to tell Lana to shut up and it's none of her business. Lana and Clark don't date any more, so therefore Clark doesn't have to tell her anything about his life. (Even though he didn't when they were dating.) Now he especially doesn't have to tell her anything. Lex also got on my nerves tonight when Clark went to see Lana about the headline and he told him that Lana was having a baby. Personally I thinn Chloe should have told him about that before he left the Talon. Which brings me to my next point. When are they going to stop plying Chloe with all their secrets? She knows Clark's secret about his abilities and where he's from. She also knows Lana is pregnant. That girl is not like Alfred the butler from Batman. She can't be able to keep all those secrets. Now to the Lois, Oliver, and Clark storyline. That was funny. I was practically in stitches the whole time Clark dressed as the Green Arrow. I'm still laughing over it.

This was one I enjoyed, it's been a long time... :P:
The story was meek, mild, typical and hokey(water fotw) but ok. I think TW’s directing had less stage shots and went more for the first reactive shots. It made the episode more believable. The lack of music throughout some of the dialogue struck a cord…it really gave the scene impact. :coolyo:

 Chloe made a lot of this episode rock…she was just way cute…her laugh is very infectious.

Overall the episode gets a B cuz it was a bit washed up in some of the writing but TW efforts gets an “A” cuz he agitated the water with his style..which made it work for me... :pfft:

Ok this episode was ok but it wasn't bad either.I was once again, not impressed by lana's additude in this eppy. Just when I thought lana had finally moved on.From the 'secrets and lies' fit she pulls it back out again. When she didn't get the truth out of Chloe, she goes at bats her eyes at Clark.

And for once Clark stood his ground with lana.He made it clear, that it was her choice to be with Lex.So he didn't owe her anything in return. The Linda Lake character didn't go over well with me as a villian. I actually thought Kristin did a better acting job than Tori. And Tori's the daughter of Araon Spelling, responsibe for programs.Like 7th Heaven and Charmed not to mention she was part of 90210 for 10 years.

Then again maybe it was the fact, that Linda attacked Chloe twice. (Is very protective of the Chloe character) I was suprised that Chloe ,and Lana defeated Linda in the end. I was expecting that Clark would show up and defeat Linda. Though I gotta ask how did Chloe learn to fight so well.

Maybe she took lessons from Lois :boxer: Chloe changed alot over the years.Going from a helpless high schooler. To someone you don't want to mess with. And the best part was the green arrow scene. I found it funny that Clark had trouble grabbing the arrows. He's a master at throwing people, but when it comes to weapons. He's no batman thats for sure :heehee:

The look on Clark's face after he got away was priceless. I blurted out: he's smitten now! And you can't argue with what Lois said in the end. "He could teach Oliver a thing or two"

This episode was a good one and I enjoyed it. Though the acting from the evil water lady and the sports guy at the beginning (he especially couldn’t act) was a little lame…

Chloe was the star tonight. She was absolutely amazing in the fight scene between her and the water lady, and totally cute when talking with Clark. I loved how she figured out that Clark was pretending to be the Green Arrow. Her grin right there was priceless and how she pushed Lois to tell the details with Clark right there… that I think was probably the best scene. Lois said that the Green Arrow’s kiss could put them all to shame… I just love Clark’s grin after Lois left… I think Clark is starting to get a taste for Miss Lane. I just loved that, I was on the floor giggling like a little girl during that entire scene. :toofunny:

Now the stuff with Lana, I was really wishing that she would not marry Lex, but would not go back to Clark either. I think I just wanted her to pack up and go back to Paris where she could never mess with Smallville or the people in it again. I have really gotten tired of Lana’s constand pleading of Clark to tell his secret. :& She totally does not deserve to know. Now especially that she is engaged to Lex. I’m really not sure what would happen now if Lana ever did find out. Would she tell Lex? Maybe… probably… though she might go whining back to Clark and like what Lois said “pass being from Mars as some sort of interesting quirk.” (good line by the way) Pleading for him to take her back. :wall: :shakehead:

So over all I think it was a good episode… Tom did a good job directing and like what was said before did some great things that made it work better than some of the episodes prior. I’d give this one a B++

I liked this episode. Yeah the freak of the week was lame, but Chloe telling Clark he can't be mad at her for not telling him about Lana, that she's suppoosed to keep everyone secrets and Clark nodding in agreement. I also loved Clark's reaction to Lois' kiss. Yes Clark that's what a kiss from a real woman feels like<VBG>.
And Lois telling Clark about the kiss.
I hope the momentum continues.

I have to say that I really enjoyed this one. Which as Knight said has been a while since I have been able to say this.

So, Tom directed this one? I had no idea. Thats good that he is branching out like that. Kudos. :coolyo:

I loved the interaction between Lois and Jimmy and Clark and Ollie and how Lois and Jimmy thought they had it figured all out.

I liked pretty much everything except the Lexana.

So, what are the bets on if the Water Lady is going to make another appearance or if she's really dead?

This just in Clark Kent kisses a real woman for the first time and Likes it, Clark is getting over Lana, Lana should mind her own business, Chloe is the bestest friend in the world, poor Oliver, his kisses are nothing compare to Clark, the beginning of a beautiful friendship between Lane and Olsen, is Lake really dead and tune in next week for Justice Leaque SmallVille style.

I am actually hoping that this weeks ep inspired Clark to wear a costume. I still say just because he is not Superman does not mean that the writers of Smallville cant create one fun episode where Clark tries on different OTHER outfits in order to design the one he will like and wear later on. We saw it in the adventures of Lois and Clark where Dean Cain tries on different outfits and looks at himself in front of the mirror. We also saw it in the Spider-Man movie where Peter Parker is drawing different suits in order to find the right Spidey outfit. Well, Clark should do something like that.

I loved the Lois and Clark kissing moment, but what I loved more was Clark's reaction aftwards and the scene where Lois says that Ollie is a good kisser and all, but Green Arrow could teach him a thing or two. That was funny as hell and the way Chloe smiled and Clark smirked afterwards was a great scene.

I still dont think Lana is going to have this baby. I think it will be lost some how and this will finally make Lex be a evil bastard who is all alone in Smallville, but then again who really knows. The writers might decide to throw more Lana and Lex scenes together and take this marrage and baby all the way. :wall:

Anyways, all an all I really enjoyed this episode and I liked all the Chloe scenes. I wonder if Torri Spelling will be back. She was hit by the car, but didn't seem like she died. She seemed like she left under the sewer... or maybe that was just me that felt that way. I dunno, I felt like I was watching "Terminator 2" and all the water that exploded will some how find a way to combine itself back together.
