Phantom was wow, breathtaking and shocking. The spoiler posted on the website was right. A phantom was released, hosting people's bodies. Lana Lang did leave Lex Luthor I knew that marriage wouldn't last. Also, Lana Lang did die in an explosion and I think Lex was the one who put the bomb in the car. I'm very surprised that Chloe has a healing power. And I was very pleased that Lois didn't die on the show. So it looks like Kristin and Annette o toole won't be back next season, unless Annette o toole makes guest appearances? So now the show needs not one , but two new cast members.
I was very dissapointed they killed Lana off. Course they do that on every show try to kill a character I like off. But I was glad to see that Lana didn't blame Clark for killing her parents. SOmehow, I always knew she would understand.

Look up and then tell me that boy is not hot!
OMGWOW! Phantom rocked out loud. Lana's "death" (Because we don't yet know if it was really her! Remember, they did that to us before!) was sad seeing how you know she just found out clark's secret but it was needed. She just screwed up the past few seasons really bad.

I knew Lois wasn't gonna die but I never expected Chloe's power to be healing! And did she pass the death onto herself? I hope not!

Bizarro Clark...one word :droolbounce:. Is it just me or was his hair darker along with the clothes?
Anyways the flying scene at the end, even though it wasn't exactly Clark, was great!

To be continued? Damnit! I hate the evil TBC's!

WOW, what an episode! I have so much to say right now that I don’t even know where to start. This is what I call a Smallville Season finale. They left us with so many questions and so many cliff hangers that my jaw just dropped in the end. It was F’N awesome! At the same time though my emotions were all over the place watching this episode and so was my mind, so lets get to it.

First things first, I don’t think Lana is dead. The previews showed her get blown up, but in tonight’s episode they clearly showed a white truck pass by her BEFORE the explosion happened therefore we didn’t get a clear shot of her. What happened then you ask? Well, that’s for us to find out later on when Smallville season 7 continues. I remember before in the ending to I believe Season 3. Chloe was seen going into a building with some police that was suppose to be hiding her out and protecting her. Anyone else remember that ep? Well, she was ok because it was explained later on that Lex had some men waiting for her in the house to quickly snag her before the explosion happened and he needed to make Chloe’s death look real. Well, the same thing happened here. I believe that Lana could have been taken by someone who was in that truck that passed by really fast. I don’t believe she was in her car. I think this was a set up.

Then there is Chloe and her powers and her *gulp* sudden death. You have no idea how I reacted to this whole scene. I was pissed! Yet at the same time I had to watch it to see how it all played out. Ok, so let me get this straight one of Chloe’s tears cured Lois who was stabbed earlier after a good fight with some guard and by doing so Chloe died? WTF?!? Please tell me that some how in season 7 they are going to bring back my Allison Mack? PLEASE! First her power is stupid to begin with because she has cried many times before and has never cured anyone. Infact off the top of my head now I recall before when Clark was sick laying in the couch how she cried and gave him that whole emotional speech of…

"I want to let you in on a secret, I'm not who you think I am, in fact, my disguise is so thin, I'm surprised you haven't seen right through me. I'm the girl of your dreams masquerading as your best friend. Sometimes I want to rip off this facade like I did at the spring formal, but I can't because you'll get scared and run away again. So I decided it's better to live with a lie than expose my true feelings... my dad told me there are two types of girls: the ones you grow out of, and the ones you grow into. I really hope I'm the latter. I may not be the one you love today, but I'll let you go for now, hoping that one day you'll fly back to me because I think you're worth the wait. "

Dammit! Any women that could express herself like that doesn’t deserve to die. Anyways my point is that its not only Clark, but others she cried over and that never happened.

The worse part about all this is that she died AFTER finding out that Clark told Lana his big secret which you could tell hurt her. Somebody slap Clark already and make him realize the obvious. Seriously though I don’t get Chloes power. Im sure it will be explained later on, but she is such a great character that I would hope she doesn’t go out like that. Maybe after curing someone she just goes into a deep comma for 5 minutes and comes back to life. Yeah ok that’s what will happen. YAY Chloe is still alive! lol.

I could see Pete coming back next season to fill the void if she were to go though, but I really hope someone brings her back to life. Maybe Lois could return the favor and bless her by crying on her head. They are cousins maybe she has that power too. Just kidding…its just sad.

Then there is Lionel who in my opinion still cannot be trusted. I really like how he explained what was going on with Jor El and The Martian Manhunter though. Its not like it’s a believable storyline or anything, but at least the writers gave us something. When Lionel talked about himself being Jor-Els Kryptonian vessel again and then goes on to say that this Phantom is different and can only die after being trapped in a Kryptonian, I immediately thought he would die by maybe later on having the Phantom get inside his body and then telling Clark to kill him. Guess not though. Of course he did get tossed really hard into the wall by that Phantom Clark. That’s the thing about this episode, so many things happened that we don’t really know how it will continue and who will die.

I have to say though, we got an awesome kick ass scene between Clark vs. Clark. That was so freakin cool! I love Bad Clark, but to see him face himself like that was just kick ass!

Good Clark: “Who are you?”
Phantom Clark: “Im you just a little bit more bizarre”

Gotta love that scene. Loved how he was standing over Clark all in dressed in his black leather. That was awesome and the punches they were throwing was so cool. What got me standing up and cheering though was the ending. Just the way they collided in slow motion and we see good Clark explode in one end with his usual priceless slow motion face while the other Bad Clark flew away and grinned to the camera…………..just WOW! What can I say. If I had a DVR I would have rewinded the last 10-12 minutes to see all that action over and over again. It was that kick ass!

Now the question is where did this Phantom Clark go? Where is he headed. This is like losing the spaceship all over again only now its apart of Clark and he could really get him in some trouble. It was cool also how he re-energized himself after Lionel put that Kryptonite in his chest. That was really cool. Loved it!

Martha is now gone too after giving her son a good pep talk about going out in the world and not having to live in the farm anymore. Way to go Martha. He needs to move out already and start flying around or something. So much happened in this episode though it was great.

I loved that Phantom kid too. I cant blame Lex for leaving that guy like he did. It was nice to see the more evil Lex in this episode. I was bracing myself for the bitch slap that he gave Lana. It was one of those powerful scenes that I knew was coming, but I still braced myself if that makes any sense at all. He really did seem like he didn’t have anything to do with Lana’s vehicle getting blown up, so to me maybe he didn’t, but its Lex, so I don’t believe him. Infact I think he might have everything to do with what happened. I think he probably had someone kidnap Lana and now will have her trapped forever in some secret lab. He just needed to have her vehicle blow up like it did so that it could look real, that’s all. Hey, don’t be surprised if that happens. Im telling you how it is and be honest couldn’t you picture that? I could.

Anyways, this was an awesome episode. I definitely loved it. It sucks that there will be no more Smallville for a while, but that’s why we have all the DVD’s. I liked the fight scene between Clark vs. Clark, Lois was her spunky self. I knew she was going to do her thing. Chloe should have known that she would try and figure out what those numbers mean. Also that little possessed kid scared me because Im afraid of the Exorcist movie and that’s what he reminded me of. Little white kids with evil faces always scare me though. Not much else to say, Im just thinking about everything that happened and sulking it all in. I wrote more then enough. Its going to be a long summer now, but it was a great ending none the less.

The Keeper of All Things Chloe
Wow....I am totally impressed! That episode was completely WOW.

Chloe's powers...yes she did cry over people before, but i think this time it was her pure selfless love for Lois that caused the tears to kick in. Also i think whatever Lex did to her during freak also pushed her powers to come forward. People can have latent powers.

Clark vs Anti-Clark well Bizarro was AMAZING!!! The effects were off the chart!

Martha leaving was sad, but at least we know she was the ONLY one to come out alive from the disasters.

Lana's 'death' .... can anyone say Covenant?!? I think she faked her own death, hopped on that delivery truck and fled.....that truck was there at teh 'right' time....ya know.

Lionel, John and Clark were excellent together...I hope they bring the justice league back and have John help as well.

THis was by far one of the best season finales.....

This was not the best season finale in my opinion. I liked the Lana plot for this and the plot for John Glover, Tom, and the martian Manhunter. I do wonder though, was he watching Clark when he was a small boy and Jonathan and Martha were around? it also explained the whole Lionel being a jerk thing. I didn't really like the phantom or lab experiment. It makes me think that if Kryptonians were that smart why did they invent that? Also, even though, I've never seen it, wasn't kind of a rip for "The Exorcist?" I did like that oepning scene with Martha holding the picture of Jonathan and Clark though. That's the first picture of Jonathan we've seen all year. I have a feeling that it might be Chloe that's gone and Lex probably was the one who put that bomb in Lana's car.

This was not the best finale. Of course it posessed the right things for a finale, but the pieces didn't work as well as they've done in the past. I don't think things were as "perilous" as they've been in the past. I think that my most favorite finale is the season three finale when Chloe is blown up, Jonathan strangled by Jor-El's whip thingy, Lex poisoned, Clark sucked into the cave wall etc. That one by far was the best one for me.

But this one was alright, I'm a little upset though. I really want Chloe to be the one to stay. I think that she still has more yet to do before the series is over. I think that it's Lana's time to go, and that her death THIS time will do something to teach a lesson to Clark. I think that Lana is going to be the one who is gone. They've drug her out long enough. Anyways, how anticlimactic would it be that they just barely uncover Chloe's power and then she dies? That just isn't right... Chloe has to live.

Ah, Lionel. I really despise Lionel. Forever and for always I will mistrust him. I hate him, but I love him. He is twisted and I never know what side he is on. I still believe that he has an agenda of his own, and is not just "an emicary from Jor-El".

It's kind of sad that Anette will likely not be showing up next season. Hopefully we'll get cameo's or special guest star roles from her. She still has a lot ot teach her son. Oh and I really did like how they had her looking at a picture of Jonathan and young Clark. THat was one little detail in this that i really liked.

I know that it may sound that I'm trashing the episode, but I did enjoy it, I just think that they could have done it better. I'll give it a six and a half out of ten,

Not a great episode but certainly a good one..

Martha holding the picture of Jonathan and Clark, very nice touch.

Martian Manhunter love him-Phil Morris is such a presence.

Lex slapping Lana-what's with that?? She should have kicked him in the jewels then walked out..

I still haven't got Lionel figured out-

The 2 Clarks the writers love an evil Clark :).

Lana dead we can only hope-- but I'm afraid it's Chloe. I'll be really be pi**ed if it is..

I'll have to rewatch it to get more.

Juding by lana's death being confirmed or not. It's highly unlikely she faked it. She got into her car right when the truck went by. Then the explosion happened. Juding by the time when the truck went by,and the bomb going off.

First of all there's no way lana would have enough time.To either get out the driver side, and run over to the truck. Or get out through the passenger side to get out. She'd have to scoot over, open the door, and slam the door shut. That would still make sound, even if she did that.

Second the police arrested Lex,for the murder of lana.So obviously there was a body found and identified. Another fact lana told Clark and Lionel before, that she was leaving Smallville. And since Clark told lana his secret,it was known that by her knowing. There wouldn't be much of a reason. To keep the show going, since Clark would need to leave Smallville in the future. And be with Lois Lane years later.

And since lana knew about what Lex was up to.Surely he wouldn't keep her alive for the series to go on.If you think about it,what's there left to tell. After lana's dated both Clark and Lex with a marriage that was doomed. The answer is nothing,so there's no way Kristin will be a regular for Season 7.

Im just going to copy and paste what I wrote under my comments in my Smallville blog I wrote in my space. The reason I am doing this is because, well, it will explain everything that I feel happened yet again…

########################################

Ok last night as you know I was thinking about the Lana situation and at first I was thinking about 2 things. I thought either Lex had some one kidnap her, so that he could keep her hostage under her will. That way she will never be with Clark and he could torture her and find out Clarks big secret. YES, he did that in the comics and that’s why I thought about that more being the case…OR I thought that Lana set up the whole thing being that Lex looked puzzled when Clark told him about Lanas death. I figure Lionel being there was to much of a coincidence too. She planned it so that he could be the witness to her murder. She jumped in that white truck herself and she also made sure to call the police. Infact she wouldn’t even have to call the police because Oliver could have done it since she could now be hiding out with him. Oliver clearly knows how dangerous Lex is so he would be the perfect person to go with in a situation like this. She needs protection and he is the man. Ok with that said, here is a NEW scenario I thought about last night.

What are the odds that Pete himself was the one that helped Lana escape. Think about it. In the comics Lana and Pete get together. If they were ever going to make it happen, this would be the best way. Lana could come back in a few months and explain how she was so in love with Clark, but was afraid that Lionel and Lex would hurt him and herself so she needed to get away. She can then say how she use to call Pete about her plans when know one was watching her. Then when she spent time with Pete she fell in love with him. I doubt that will happen, but its just a idea. I will say this though, Lex in the comics DID kidnap Lana like I said and even tortured her because he knew that she knew Clarks secret. That’s just something to think about too. We all know that the writers of Smallville change everything anyway, so who knows.

Oh and as far as Chloe goes, I still believe she is alive. I just don’t see how someone’s special ability would kill them from using it. Otherwise she never had a ability she had a curse. Maybe she goes into a coma because healing someone takes so much out of her, either way the power is ridiculous, but Im going along with what they are doing. They promised us death in the finale episode and we got it. Lana died in our TV screens, but did NOT actually die, therefore they delivered what they promised us or atleast what certain sites promised us because during the promos they did not say someone will die. Know one needs to die when it continues. Lionel wakes up, so does Chloe and we continue the saga that is Smallville. If Chloe does die though I will be pissed off, so that’s not going to happen. Im interesting in knowing about “Bizarro Clark” though because he was not all white in the face except for a few seconds at the end. I also remember him being really dumb and talking funny. Tom Welling made him seem really cool. Unless later on he says weird things like, “Me hungry…me love you long time…me want chicken…me go dance now.” but I dunno. Man, what a kick ass episode though. What a ending. Now we all gotta wait for a few months to see what happens. :(

When the truck went by she had enough time to get in that truck and slam the door. They could explain later that Bart picked her up and super speed her into that truck. If anyone could do it, it would be Bart since hes even faster then Clark. Yeah its a crazy thought, but Im just picking up from what I just posted about Oliver helping her out. Anything can happen, its Smallville. Lois is in the series sleeping in Clarks home and she shouldn't be, so I wouldn't be surprised at anything that happens anymore, but those are just my opinions so I'll leave it at that. Guess we will see what happens. Either way it was a awesome episode.

If you recall Manny spoilerfix.com reported that there would be two deaths in Phantom. So this could very well mean that both Chloe and Lana die. Weather lana faked her death,or died for real. I don't really care just as long as she isn't a regular for next season.

Also Manny though your ideas sound interesting. They just don't hold up like Oliver and Bart. Lana's never encountered the Green Arrow. And Oliver's never shown much concern with lana's well being. I think he pretty much assumed that Lex and Lana would break up.Since Oliver knew about Lex's past and grew up with him.

Another thing would be the 33.1 plot, since the after math of Justice. And the Justice & Doom storyline comic. It pretty much tells everyone, that Oliver,Bart,Victor, and A.C. are busy destroying the 33.1 buildings world wide.

And onto Pete (Which I hope he's a regular again for Season 7) When he left in Season 3,the last person he saw was Clark. This was while lana was still kidnapped by Emily I believe. Lana doesn't even know where Pete left town to.And she doesn't even have his phone number. So assuming lana, had a plan to fake her death. How could Pete know about lana's plan, let alone still be in Smallville to help out?

That still doesn't explain how the police arrested Lex for lana's death.I'm sure they couldn't simply arrest Lex for lana's car being destroyed. They would need a body identified for anything to be held up in court.

Remember earlier when lana said to Lex.The only way he could stop her, from leaving was to kill her. Then lana get in her car later and ka-boom. And I didn't really buy Lex's surprised look when Clark told him. Lex coldly didn't give the scientist a chance to escape with him.If he could be that evil, then he can surely fake an innocent act. He's done it before when he's lied to Clark in the past.

And Lex has stated before how much he hates the though.Of lana leaving him for Clark. And if he ever lost her,he would lose himself. So what I got from that was the ole 'if I can't have her,no one can'.

Well I agree, I'm sure the police would have found and identified the body before arresting someone for murder. And I really hope that Lana is dead. :evil3:

I really miss Pete, especially I really miss the time Clark went to school. The element of him being an average schmo and at the same time a superhero was really cool. I hope he gets a real job next season, hopefully not as a reporter though.

Well, there's alot to think about over the summer. Which date does the show start again?

The next season will likely start either mid/late September or early October monger. But it's more likely that it will start in September.Since most the seasons have started during that time.

I have to agree with you and Chloe Lover, I think Lana staged her own death. She needed to get away from the Luthors and this was probably the only way. That truck passing by was too concidental. One of the sites showed a clip of the truck and it seemed to indicate that the driver was wearing a red jacket and for an instant looked a little like Clark. I looked at the clip, but I don't see that.

I hope Chloe is in a state of regenerating her own life forces after exchanging her life for Lois'. I have heard that a good cry can have medicinal value, but this takes that concept to another level...healing tears what a awesome power.

With Martha gone, I wonder if Lana will be hiding out on the farm or leave Smallville for a while. Yes this reminds me a lot of Covenant.

I for one will miss Martha, she in earlier seasons was a stablizing force for Clark. I was somewhat disappointed in the goodby scene between Martha and Clark. I would have expected a greater show of emotions..oh well.

I am looking foward to next season for answers. :)

Looks like to me Three cast members won't be returning next year. Lana for one, Chloe for two, and Annette o toole. Although it would be nice if Annette could come for reg Cameo appearances sorta like John did for Season 5. Or they could show Clark talking to her on the phone often. Martha needs to be around somewhat to keep giving Clark advice. As a true Superman fan, I believe Clark's Parents are who made Clark Superman Today.

This season started with a bang and a hope that Clark Kent finally moved on past his Lana obession, accepting who he was, Lana accepting herself as a trophy wife, the only thing she is good for anyways, being down right mean and they do like they always do, go backwards, Clark is inlove with Lana again, and they couldn't make Lana look like a witch so they turn back and make us forget it was Lana who said she loved Lex, it was Lana who wanted to marry Lex.Now they did a complete flip flop. I just hope she is gone for good, she became useless seen season 4. I mean they get rid of the two more useful characters, Jonathan and Pete and they keep the onces, that whose usefulness has run its coarse Lionel and Lana.
