Well... it was definitely different. I haven't been keepig up on the spoilers, so I have absolutely no idea who these new people are. There are two new Luthorcorp executives that are suddenly the evil guy. I kinda miss Lex, he's an evil guy you actually know. I actually kind of enjoyed seeing Clark ge the tar knocked out of him in the Russian camp. It's a good thing to get a dose of humble pie once in a while, and I think Clark needed it in order to help him grow up. My favorite part of the show was the last scene between Clark and Lois in the Planet. I love their banter and it's just hilarious what happens. I totally laughed out loud. It's interesting the turn that Clhoe has taken and yet we all sort of expected it. Before her healing power was revealed, everyone thought she had a super smart brain or something. Well, it looks like she has both. :D The highlight of hte show was seeing the flashback montage as Clark was dying. It showed a clip of Jonathan which I thought was nice. I'm glad thay haven't completely forgotten Clark's past. It is good though that Clark has realized that he can't stay at the farm and live in a past which is long gone. The Dailly Planet is sure to be much more interesting with the duo of Lane and Kent. Interesting beginning. I'm not sure where this season will go. |

This episode was a double edge sword to me it was an improvement over last season. But at the same time a few things were repeated like Clark being powerless....AGAIN! They've run that theme into the ground kryptonite and lightning,Jor-el taking away Clark's powers,a blue kryptonite ring, and now some globe like object. I actually didn't miss Lex in this episode nor will I miss him at all this season. We've been stuck with Lex for 7 years we've had enough air time with him.If you want a dose of Michael watch the old episodes thats what I say. It's kind of Ironic how Clark working in a Russian Camp, and Russia invading Georgia recently. Maybe they were trying to have 'Clark' locate the oil pipeline for them? I enjoyed seeing Clark get a beat down for once lord knows he needed it. I was a bit disappointed we didn't get to see Clark get hired in the episode. It's the Daily Planet the most successful newspaper company in the world.Surely just turning in your application and your hired can't be that easy? But so far in all the Clois banter on the show,I think the squeeky chair scene. Tied with Lois & Clark:The New Adventures of Superman's 'Lois is in trouble,Lois is in trouble' dance. Edit: Oh and my dream came true last night, Allison became the new female lead. It's about time her character was always more interesting than lana. |

I'm going to enjoy the Green Arrow this season. He makes the show more interesting when he's around. Heck, I even go for the Clois now. At least we aren't getting Lana, Lex, Clana, or lexana this year. After doing that nonstop since the show started it has gotten very old. I'm glad that Jonathan got more than just a mention with Clark thinking of him as he was dying. We have only seen pictures and heard Jonathan talked about. We haven't seen him since Oracle and it was refreshing that they gave some service to Clark's past. I still don't understand how or why Jor-el took Clark's powers away. Clark didn't do anything to have them taken away and I missed the last three episodes of season 7. I did enjoy the fight between him and Oliver in the Russian concentration camp. That was funny. Now onto Lois. I liked her, except for one thing; what was with the naughty French maid look? The banter between her and Clark in the last scene was funny. I don't know how I feel about Tess yet. I don't know if she's going to work after seeing Michael for seven years. I can't say that Lana will be missed. I'm glad she's not a regular this year. Another thing I didn't like was the Martian Manhunter saying that Clark was like a god. They have been saying that way too much. We never heard anyone refer to him that way-except Jor-el maybe. Jonathan and Martha didn't even do that. It seems like this past season was when they started. Other than that I liked the episode/ |
