Can't Stay Away
I liked it. I wish Clark and Jor-el could have had a scene like Jor-el had with Chloe before Jor-el died so that way Clark could see that his real father wasn't like the voice he hears when he goes to the arctic. It was interesting that Lois wasn't in tonight's episode, but we didn't see her run away with she thought she loved A.C. or Oliver so her actions don't make much sense. I did like Oliver tonight. He's been getting better since the "Roulette" episode and he was able to be there for Clark as a friend when Clark was sad over Jor-el's death. Someone who's lost parents, like Oliver, would understand. And Clark did tell Oliver that he was going to need his help to get Zod and his disciples. Also it was a good thing they brought up "Relic" and Jor-el's reason for going to the farm due to the events in that episode. The funny thing about that was that it would make you say, "Of course you had fond memories. Remember Louise and the affair you had with her in her husband's barn." The other funny thing was when Chloe said Jor-el's right of passage was a walkabout. It made me think she must have been watching "Austraila" recently since that's the only movie that has that term. All in all it was a good episode and in some ways I did feel bad for Zod, losing his son, but he ruined it when he killed Jor-el. It was a better episode than a lot of them I've seen.
