Welcome to the third crossover with the shigami going head on with the spirit detective from Earth. Instead of providing the information this time, I want people who have watched and read the mangas to provide it to show they have some knowledge other than what I post. They are fighting at the point where both animes have ended. BEGIN!

This is a pretty fun match up here. Both opponents deal with their versions of demons and protect the living from them. Both of them also struggle with their inner demons and the fact that they may have as much in common with the demons they fight as the people they protect from them. Now, it's somewhat hard to measure relative strengths in this case but I'd probably say that we can match them up somewhat if we try. Ichigo and Yusuke both have periods where they are getting grips on their powers, and while each fight some stronger enemies, it's clear they are just getting a handle on their abilities. The Dark Tournament and the Soul Society Arcs see both rise dramatically in power, unlocking new levels (Ichigo gets Bankai, Yusuke gets the soul orb). The last shared transition comes with the unlocking of both of their inner demons. Yusuke is possessed by his Mazuku (spelling?) ancestor and reborn as a demon, and Ichigo get's his hollow transformations up to his Vasto Lorde form (I'm going to stop the comparisons here as Yusuke tops out and his show ends while Bleach just goes on forever with basically infinite strength boosts as needed). At this point both are incredibly powerful, but they also have the issue of potentially losing control of themselves at this point. Normally each fighter has a rather headstrong fighting style as it is, with both of them preferring a head to head fight. I would give a slight tactical advantage to Yusuke though as he shown more than once that he can use his head in a fight, and implements creative strategies that put his opponents off balance. Still, they are both fairly direct in preference, and I feel like there is a good chance that with their respective demons unleashed this will turn into a massive brawl, where strategy means less than brute force. In this case things are still fairly evenly matched. Both Ichigo and Yusuke are shown taking tremendous punishment and not backing down, and both are shown to have pretty ungodly power and speed at this point. Honestly these characters are so similar that you could basically flip a coin here (or just find someone more decisive than me who has watched both shows ) Even if you take into account Ichigo's continued growth in power it's clear that at the end of Yu Yu Hakusho that Yusuke won't just be standing still either. I'd have to go with a draw that would probably leave whatever continent they were fighting on a smoking ruin, or possibly a double KO if they let their inner demons rule the day.Seriously though, I got such a feeling of Deja Vu from Bleach om some places that I'm convinced Tite Kubo was a diehard Yu Yu Hakusho fan back in the day. I'm not complaining as I appreciate both shows, but when one has watched both of them it's impossible not to see the similarities between them. |

I was actually going to stop Ichigo's growth where the anime has ended where he has mixed fullbring with his shigami powers. Now while yusuke is a strong opponent without his demon transformation have the spirit gun, scatter shot, etc. I believe that with Ichigo not only having his shigami and hollow powers but also his fullbring I beileve Ichigo has an advantage. Ichigo also has getsuga tenshou which is amplifyed just by saying it's naming and is also amplifyed when he goes bankai and yet again amplifyed when he goes hollow. Yusuke can make the spirit gun stronger but I don't believe it and most his moves have much strength against it either. Plus do we know if ichigo is capable of using mugestu anymore? The last time he used it his zanpaktou had been attached to his arm but it was never implied that he couldn't use it again after learning it and not having his zanpaktou attached to him since there was no way to tell since no one has used it and regained their spiritual pressure. |

And what's the basis of your argument? There's not really any way to compare the strengths of their attacks with enough certainty for it to be that one sided. Yusuke's spirit gun doesn't start as a mega-powerful attack, but by the time of his last fight with Toguro, and especially further on down the line I see no reason not to think it would be a fairly comparable attack with Getsuga Tensho (or however the hell it's spelled). If you want to fanboy it and you prefer bleach then fine, but unless these are all just going to be popularity contests, the whole point is to use some logic.... |

it would end up coming down to yusuke's reincranation form then but how much power does that form have compared to the hollow mask and full-powered hollow form |
