To all teams that want help building for season 6!

I want every team to be the best they can be for season 6. I realize that a lot of teams have more helpers than others and the staff wants to mitigate that. You have all been welcome to ask any of the staff members for advice, but we are looking to go one step further. Many of the staff are willing to become pseudo-supporters during this off season to any team that requests it. This means we will act as a supporter for your team and be in your thread on a regular bases helping you build your team for season 6. While I don't claim that the staff members are all knowing when it comes to making a good team, we have a lot of experience behind us and have a very good handle on what works or what does not work. You should understand that many of the staff have their own teams that they coach or support. While we give you our word that will not affect how we help you, it is up to you to accept that or not. I love my Earth Defenders, but I believe that the stronger every team is, the stronger the league is, and will do anything I can to strengthen even rivals (short of telling you my own teams plans). The people on the staff are there because they proved to me that they also share similar views about wanting to help the league as a whole. With that said, know that we completely understand if you do not need or do not want our help. Any team who does, however, have your coach say so below. If you are a coach, ask your team to see what they think, if you are not a coach, bring it up in your thread. This should be something the team decides on. We are not quite sure how we will treat this yet. We may assign certain teams to certain staff members, or we may just float around so you get help from several staffers. Either way, we promise to help you build your team the best we can during this off season and make season 6 a whole new level of competition!

We're all for some extra help. If there's a choice between staff members however, we'd prefer a neutral staff member (someone who isn't currently on a team).
While I don't think it is your intention, what you are implying in this post is kind of insulting to the entire staff.

Oh Huzzah you really like arguing with the staff don't you? :P I think its more of a matter of with the knowledge that you'll be gaining from working with say the vals you'll use that knowledge and have an 'unfair advantage' against that particular team. Of course i'm not saying you will or won't use it in the slightest i'm just saying what the reason could be is all.

That's the whole point, the whole 'unbiased' thing. If the staff didn't think they could be unbiased, they wouldn't be doing this. I would love this, but we Saiyans have too much pride to receive outside help :P

I don't think it was meant to be insulting, it's just kind of hard to ignore what another team is doing in your builds if you have insider information.

So it's not supposed to be insulting when you essentially outright accuse us of not being able to do our damn jobs as staff members?

I don't know if you're talking about me or Huzzah here but I'm pretty sure nobody outright accused anyone of anything, at the most it was implied.

I am speaking in a general sense anyway, I don't think Huzzah's request is unreasonable. The staff members aren't made up of robots and humans are prone to bias and mistakes.

As I have seen no objections, The Super Saiyans would like support from the staff

That, and because, if you're focusing on two teams at once, it's very easy to have a slip of words and give an advantage to whatever team you're conversing to, be that your own team or the team you're helping. Not saying that it's intentional, but as we're all human here, it's easier to make that mistake accidently. When having a neutral party member, you'll reduce that risk.

No problem Derangel. :)
