Hey guys, I'm here to announce something that the staff have created today. It's become painfully obvious that the draft so far hasn't gone as we had anticipated. And we foresee that everyone is going to just hold onto as much Zeni as possible and just bid everything on who they want. Which is very.... uninteresting. We have come to realize that we just haven't given enough interesting things to bid on. So without further ado, I'm ready to announce the Dragon Ball Z League Boost Store! What it basically is, is a store run by myself and the rest of the staff where you spend your unused Zeni that you are left with after the draft has completely finished. Right now, this is just a preliminary list of things you can purchase, and we may try to find other ways to get Zeni... but don't count on it! As a final note, these things will be available for purchase publicly, but you guys will USE these boosts when you put up your builds in your final customization threads. So that everything is a surprise!

Free Potaras

So, the first thing we have been playing around with are free potaras! These would be limited to one per player per match and wouldn't count towards your 7 points for that character. These are all one-time use, and the same one cannot be used on the same character two weeks in a row. For instance, if Jeice has Super +3 (Super +2 Ki-1, and Super +1) one week, he cannot have a free Super +1 the next. Please remember that this does take up one of your 7 customization slots. Potora rules for characters are still in effect. The store does not allow you to put potaras on characters that are not allowed to use them. However, these free potaras will bypass potara limits. For instance, if you have Dragon Power on Krillin and Yamcha, you may use the Dragon Power boost on Chiaotzu and Goku so that everyone has Dragon Power that week.
Potara NameCost
Broly's Ring1 Zeni
Rising Fighting Spirit1 Zeni
Aura Change (Any color or type)1 Zeni
Exquisite Skill2 Zeni
Kibito's Secret Art3 Zeni
Unleash Ki2 Zeni
Power of Rage3 Zeni
Dragon Power 5 Zeni
Serious!3 Zeni
Indignation!3 Zeni
Fighting Spirit!3 Zeni
Latent Energy!2 Zeni
Ki +14 Zeni
Defense +13 Zeni
Super +14 Zeni
Attack +14 Zeni
Draconic Aura4 Zeni
Style of the Strong10 Zeni

Other boosts

Immediately "rotate" your free agent regardless of what week it is - 2 Zeni
- This boost would also enable you to trade out someone who was already rotated out as if it was a week where you could do so normally. For example, if you are the Earth's Defenders, and you have Mid Vegeta (Your free agent), Goku, Tien, Krillin, and Yamcha in as fighters and Chiaotzu swapped out. You may choose to use this boost to swap Krillin out and Chiaotzu in as fighters.

Trade a player's bench with another player's - 5 Zeni
- This boost would enable you to essentially count one player's bench for another player's bench. Very similarly to how we are handling benching for Free Agents. If you were to have benched Krillin the previous week for his bench slot, and choose to use this boost, you may choose to bench Krillin again and count it towards Goku's bench slot. So in essence you would have to bench Krillin 4 times (3 for his normal benches, and 1 for Goku) and Goku only twice. Obviously, this thing is extremely powerful, so we have made it rather expensive and are restricting it to once per team. Meaning, you may only buy one, so use it wisely.

Trade out a map (only available if you are playing at home)- 2 Zeni
- This boost would allow you to pull the rug out from under your opponent and swap to a completely different map. If you choose to use this, you may ONLY choose maps from the map bidding pool. Meaning you cannot use this boost to change your map to mountain road or the tournament stage.

Now, please do not actually try to purchase things here. I will be making another thread where teams can purchase these boosts.

Please note, that these boosts are specifically designed to only be used during the season. You cannot use any of these boosts during the playoffs.

True, fair enough. And if this is used, it has to be used to bench a player for a second straight week or can any player in rotation be benched in place of the scheduled character?

It can be used to bench any of your active players in your rotation in the place of another player. Similar to how the Free Agent benching works, this would make that player's bench count towards someone else's. For example:

Week 11
Mid Goku
Krillin
Tien
Yamcha
Bench - Chiaotzu
Free Agent - Mid Vegeta

Week 12 - Bench trade boost used! (Counts towards Mid Goku)
Mid Goku
Krillin
Yamcha
Chiaotzu
Bench - Mid Goku (Tien)
Free Agent - Mid Vegeta

After the Z-Cast I am now confused about how the boost store works.

So, I'm going to phrase this as simply as I can.

Let's say that DBW decide to buy Attack +1 from the boost store. We decide to wait and use it in Week 3. Let's say, for simplicity, we put it on Nam.

Now, here's my question. Is that Attack +1 gone, forever? Or does my team still have access to it i.e. Week 4 I could use it on someone else, like Tao?

Now, if the Attack +1 is gone, would DBW (and other teams) be allowed to buy multiples of potaras like Attack +1, Super +1, so that we can use them at different times in the season?

Yeah that particular Attack +1 would be gone forever. So you would be able to buy as many of those boosts as you can but they have yet to say if there is a deadline or not by which all purchases need to be made.

Lets say for example you buy 1 ki+1 and 1 Super +1 Patara.

Week 1 I put Ki+1 on Tapion and Super +1 on Jane

Week 2 i Put Super +1 on Tapion and Ki+1 on Jane

Would i be able to put Ki + 1 on Tapion and Super +1 on Jane for week 3?

Wait, no, I'm pretty sure you have to buy them all individually. And from there you could put them on whoever, as long as you re-purchase them every week you use them.

Well to Dylan, it depends on how much of those you buy. If you buy more than one then sure. If you only bought one Super bonus and one Ki bonus, then no.

As to Zalibrator, they have not officially said if we buy these on a weekly basis or if we have to buy everything by a given deadline. But they have indeed said that you can buy multiples of the boosts at a given time; there was no mention of a limitation of what you can buy at a given time. It was stated that the items are consumable but as they have left it, in Dylan's case, the Blades could buy three Super bonuses and three Ki bonuses at any given point and not strictly one specific boost per week, and do what Dylan outlined.

Of course, I am not a staff member so if I am wrong, please correct me.

Ohhh, I was under the impression that Dylan was saying if he only bought one he could use it for 3 weeks, when in the z-cast that was just released I remember Squee pointing out that every purchase could only be used once before it's gone.

However, I hadn't thought of weather or not purchasing 3 of the same potara at one time and then using them at separate times was allowed.

It is gone for good. As stated before, "These are all one-time use, and the same one cannot be used on the same character two weeks in a row." Meaning they are consumable. Which means once you use the boost, it's gone into the aether. However, there is no limit to the amount of a particular boost you can buy as long as you have the cash.

As long as in week 2 you would buy another Super +1 and another Ki +1 boost. As I stated above, these are one time uses. You don't just buy them once, and you have access to that free potara forever. Esepecially not for 4 zenni.

This. To put it simply, it is. You can buy whatever boosts with whatever money you have left until you are out of cash.
