Well it's been a while since I've really played anything other than Mancala Kalah on my iPod Touch, but I've gotten back into it and I've also gotten some iTunes credit from my girlfriend's Mum for my birthday so back into iOS gaming I go! D.A.R.K. - It's an isometric duel stick shooter much like Age Of Zombies but level based instead of score based, it's trying a bit to be like Dead Space, but it's still great fun. Sword and Sworcery - Been wanting to play this for a while since I love adventure/action games, though I've found out that you "play" S&S for the art and music more that the "gameplay", kinda a shame since it wasn't what I was expecting, but still a nice experience. Legends Of Yore - A rogue-like 8 bit pixel styled adventure game that's more geared to the casual gamer (funny that being on iOS and all!) than other rogue-likes I've played before (I'm looking at you Powder!). Mancala Kalah - I mentioned I've been playing this a lot and still haven't really mastered it. It's based on an ancient African board game where the goal is to capture more seeds than your opponent, sounds silly but it's great fun, would be nice if the online VS part of the app worked, there never seems to be anyone online to play. Well I beat D.A.R.K. on Hard, and really wasn't too hard, if I died at a section it was easy to not die the second time, and I get the feeling they didn't intend for someone to play on hard the first time cause once I had finished the game I could start at any difficulty I wanted, and keep all my stuff and stuff! And one cool thing I noticed is that on the med difficulty the game isn't quite the same, some sections from hard have been removed, and I'm sure the enemy waves are different, which again leads me to think they intended for people to go from easy-med-hard and not just be awesome like me and kick butt on the hardest difficulty on a brand new game...even I am the king of all video games....or it's not really that hard a game to begin with...hmmmm, I suspect it's the latter! Other than that I'm playing Shining Core (iOS), it's a weird hybrid RPG/bejeweled game, you fight by playing a match 3 game at the bottom while your guy fights depending on what icons you've matched, and in another twist it's a turn based match 3 game with the enemy sharing your board, it's really good if not a bit rough round the edges.
