Dragon Crush-Vanishing Rush

I'd like to see how aware the AI is of having these potaras (or the 2 point inferior ones) and how often will it use the advantages given by them. Also if Broly AI affects the usage of these (from the description - it should)

So i'd like to see

Muscle Roshi with Dragon Crush (<Plus Effect> Dragon Homing +2) and Broly AI
vs
Muscle Roshi with Vanishing Rush (<Plus Effect> Vanishing Attack +2) and Default AI

P.S. you can use someone else on the second spot if the test seems too character specific (i was thinking of someone with a base vanishing of 2 or more, if they exist)

This is an interesting test now that I have read what you are looking at. This will probably take a bit longer to do so I won't have anything for this for at least a week. I need to do some extra looking at characters and seeing what Roshi's base Vanishing/ Dragon Rush numbers are (which isn't provided in our info).

I will for sure get to this but again, it'll take a bit more work on my end unless someone has access to the information I would need to be aware of. =)

Well I have an update and it seems after a lot of testing with many different character combinations, the AI is not aware of the increase in dragon breaks/ vanishing attacks when equipped.

By that I mean, it doesn't actively utilize the potara every single time. I did over 30 matches and only had 2 where in once segment the AI seemed to actually utilize it to some degree (that said, there were a lot more max power modes that did the exact same combo).

did you use characters that have very low base dragon/vanishing (1)?

I used Kid Goku, Early Goku, Roshi, Nam, Teen Gohan, Ultimate Gohan, Hercule, Videl, Super Buu, Android 13, Broly, Pilaf. Between those characters, absolutely none of them would go above their normal Vanishing/ Dragon Rush number enough times to be noticable. It maybe was the 3rd or 4th match in the various sets where they utilized the potara once (a lot of them never even used dragon rushes most of the time because they take ki).

The only ones that had even used the potaras in a somewhat normal fashion were the ones with an already low vanishing count (i.e. Hercule, Early Goku, Pilaf). Most of the characters that even broke beyond their nomal limit in a combo were in Max Power mode, which increases the limit already so the potara would end up being useless.

So the AI may use it, but it's not consistant at all from what I have seen. They arn't useless for sure, an extra attack is still an option for a character to use. Now to be fair, these were all on Default AI. I'm sure AI will be a much bigger factor when adding that to the potara build.

At this point I'm leaving this alone until I can come back with a new idea to try and test this better.
