The only problem I foresee if they do ancient China: I'd just keep thinking about Dynasty Warriors and eventually go play that instead.

Haha, luckily I wouldn't have that problem.

That's ancient ancient China, as in around year 200 or so. Lots of interesting stuff happened in that area before and after that. Like said Ming dynasty.

Wait wait wait wait wait....

He couldn't go to ALL of these places. All these assassins are supposed to have blood ties to Desmond, unless Ubisoft decides to replace him with a character that actually has... Character. But at that point I would enjoy it if they just trashed the conspiracy idea all together and put in a story that is focused on an actual timeline, rather than friggin Templars and aliens.

That and why would the Templars have anything to do with ancient China or Japan? At that point it wouldn't even be Assassins Creed anymore since it would have nothing to do with Desmond or the Templars.

Really, anything before the rise of the Templars would be kinda irrelevant unless Ubisoft pulls something out of their butt.

It's canon this group existed long before they took on the name Templars, It's canon that Brutus, you know the killer of Ceasar, was an Assassin manipulated by Templars unknowingly. It's canon they work all over the world.

Edit:Before I forget. What Aliens? The Ones Who Came Before are from Earth, it's implied, atleast from my point of view, THEY evolved on earth and later geneticly engineered Humans.

Surely when Desmond diverts this new civilization destroying disaster (probably solar flare) then it must be over?

I do remember in a Gamespy article though, they quoted one of the story writers as saying that the way the story is designed it could be "potentially infinite" as they can just throw people into the Animus willy nilly for new characters/settings.

Milk it like a cow, Ubisoft.
I certainly wouldn't be complaining too much! I still want to see Assassins in Feudal Japan.
Hmh, ninjas.

That's fair enough. Guess I wasn't paying attention, although that is pulling some real crap out of their butt.

What? I thought that the reason that they were extinct was because their world was destroyed by that event that happened with the sun that is going to happen again, which is why Desmond is trying to prevent it?
