Very true. The mountains would be excellent. Although I would prefer not to be a Dwarf Dwarves don't do too well on boats!Actually, is our society going to be purely one race, or a modern "multicultural" country? (Or has that yet to be decided? :P) EDIT: sounds good to me HJK, deciding food by geographical location. Edited by Dantos4, Mar 30 2012, 02:40 PM.

Also, Looks like we will have a kind of Mediterranean climate? Maybe Grow grapes for wine? Dwarven brew and all. Known to also be made with mushrooms

I would think we'd be humans. Looking at out borders, we would need to rely more on farming and fishing, which are better suited for humans, not on brewing and mining. Edit: Also, this sort of remids me of Italy. A mediterannian pennisula with high priorty on fishing. Edited by RandomMan1, Mar 30 2012, 02:53 PM.

Yeah, I'd prefer to be humans or at least have a multicultural nation, if not purely human. It would be interesting to have a human majority and "another race" as a minority? |

I look at it as, we are a peninsula blocked off by mountains which would probably be inhabited by dwarves. I would assume humanity originated in the southernmost area, and rapidexpanded (Like in real life). The dwarves would have expanded west into that peninsula, as it would have been the only land they could without crossing into some human country. Edit: I am not suggesting a full dwarven culture, maybe mixed dwarven/human with a few elves and trolls thrown in there. Edited by Grey, Mar 30 2012, 02:57 PM.

I would assume the racial origin would be, Dwarves from the northeast of the southern island (The mountain range), Elves from the southwestern forest, humans from the east of the southern island, trols from the far north and skaterd islands(Frost trolls, jungle trolls, ect) Actually I think maybe we shake it up a bit? Mountain dwelling elves (Drow if you will), Dessert dwelling humans (Not really different from the real world but still) City dwarves. |
