Wrong word... we "unnecessarily changed"it.

Go to a store in America and ask for that. See what happens.

Look at your country's history.

Now your an English teacher? I was always better in my math classes.

I blame firefox.
So, you were wrong.

I would, but I live in England. Where it is known as a rucksack.

The blackboard just called pot the black, I think.

Where did I say that?

Oh, you mean Mathematics? If you're so good at Mathematics, why can't you stick to only posting one post at a time? :)

It is a shoddy writer who blames his paper.

Actually, if you Google "Americanism", you can find a list of all Americanisms on multiple sites. A quick Ctrl+F: "I as", receives 0 matches :)
Not wrong, just worded it wrong

A rose by any other name is still a rose, my friend.

Correct expression: The pot just called the kettle black. And how exactley did he do this?

No idea

Mathematics or math, a rose by any other name, once again

True

A so called "Americanism" is a result of an accent. You Brits have your own forms of words (oh and for the record, if you want true english, you'll have to consult Germanic, Latin, and French)

If somebody says "yes" and says "I worded it wrong, I meant 'no'" they were still wrong the first time.

It's a rucksack, not a rose. You Americans! :P

I was referring to the modernised term, as kettles are no longer black. He discriminated against the Kiwis as a race, I called racism, and he said I should look at my own country. There are no cotton fields in Liverpool, guys.

No, one is the non-existent singular. "Mathematic" is not a word in either language. "Mathematics" is.

So missing the "u" out of the words colour, harbour, honour etc are all "accents"? How about calling a lift an "elevator", is that accented?

That is the origin of the language. If you want any European language you look either to Ancient Greek or Latin. We had the sense to change the names of our languages when they differed from others... :P

At least MY country never lost a war to France. And I didn't insult the kiwi's as a race, only as a nationality. So its xenophobic.

We've had more wars than decades America has existed for. You lost a war in Vietnam... pretty sure France is stronger.

You said they were "better than" the Kiwis. Not that you were afraid/dislike all foreigners. The Kiwi "race" is not all foreigners.

Not -"Xenophobia is defined as "an unreasonable fear of foreigners or strangers or of that which is foreign or strange"
Is racism -"Racism is the belief that inherent different traits in human racial groups justify discrimination."
A race is defined as - "a classification system used to categorize humans into large and distinct populations or groups by heritable phenotypic characteristics, geographic ancestry..."

Just like to say, all joking aside, that I as a human being am not racist, just a bit of a troll.

Yes, America helped so much in the Battle of Britain, the Battle of Gazala & the Battle of Stalingrad :)

Meanwhile America got taken by surprise two years into a global war by the German sidekicks.
