OK, about that "Free to play" remark, know that If It wants to succeed for real, it might be best to go free-to-play from the start. Facts are facts, and the facts are they the free-to-play model is pretty much guaranteed to make about 5 craptons of $'s if done right. (Ex. League of legends.) |

Yes thats true. The free to play model is very profitable. However this is a pretty big game and we may actually see buy to play now that i think about it (I.e. Guild wars 2) with buying the game then not paying anything after that except maybe a skin or character slot. It would make money and ensure an item mall doesnt become overpowered. So either one of those at launch is likely Ah who am I kidding theyre probably gonna go pay to play and then after a bit go free to play like a lot of games are doing. Just to spite us. lol |
