Hello good people of the lair that is Squee's! I need help choosing which of the following games, all of which have excessively been recommended to me, I should play next. But before I present you with said games I thought it to be logical if I provided some background knowledge on my gaming habits. When it comes to things like gameplay, graphics, engine capability, technological advancement, ect. I absolutely do not care. None of that matters to me, what does, however is great role-playing opportunities, non-linear choices and tons of side quests, a good and compelling plot, freeroam and open world experiences, and basically everything that Baldur's Gate II does right. As for my favorite games: -The Elder Scrolls series (Only the major ones, and all the way from Arena to Skyrim, love em' all) -Baldur's Gate I & II -Dragon Age Origins -Mass Effect 2 (never played the others) -Mount & Blade: Warband (very different from the games above, but the freeroam is spectacular) -Fable series Based on the information provided above, which of the following do you think I will enjoy the most: -Planescape: Torment -The Witcher series -The Neverwinter Nights series -The Diablo series -Third Age Total War series -Eye of the Beholder series |

If you have a console, then I highly recommend Dark Souls.![]() "Prepare to die." Edited by matthesen, May 9 2012, 02:20 AM.

Both Planescape and Neverwinter are great games and if you want to bring anyone along I have NWN2 and Diablo 2 and I know a few others that have NWN2 you could drag along |

I also vote for Planescape or Neverwinter, though if you play Neverwinter 1 get the Hordes of the Underdark expansion, best part of the game. If 2, get Mask of the Betrayer, the ending is bad without that expansion and it's well worth it. Just a note, HotU and MotB both have WAY more roleplay stuff than their base game, and Planescape is all about the Roleplay, combat and such being secondary. |

Yes matthesen I do have a 360, and I'll look into it. Now I'm strongly considering NWN (and the expansion) |
