I honestly prefer to watch the English dubs of most shows. The only show I haven't done that with is Kekaishi if anyone watches that.

If the dub is good I watch the dub, if it isn't or if one part of it really gets on my nerves I watch the sub.
Case in point, Bleach. An alright dub, except for how they handle the voices of children, which makes me want to rip off my ears, so I watched the sub.....until the show got boring.
On the other hand no one in their right mind can say Fullmetal Alchemist, original or brotherhood, had a bad dub. I still hold it up as one of the best dubs I have ever heard.

bringin' it around town
Well, there it was! Four years after its death, Toonami came back last night. Anyone else catch it?

Tom is indeed back! In fact, someone already uploaded all of his parts during the block, and he sounds and looks as good as ever. Felt just like home.

The line-up was Bleach, Deadman Wonderland, Casshern Sins, FMA: Brotherhood, Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd Gig, and Cowboy Bebop. Deadman Wonderland And Casshern Sins are brand new series that started from their first episodes, but each of the other shows in line-up just showed a random episode from the series; word is that Toonami is struggling with a tight budget right now and that we'll get a better line-up if ratings are good.

Tom also reviewed the video game I Am Alive. Considering he reviewed ME3 on the April Fool's Toonami airing earlier this year, I think we can expect the video game review segment to be returning in full force.

That's pretty much everything I gathered from last night!

EDIT: By the way...I mentioned earlier that I don't have CN so I can't watch it on TV - that's still completely true. I watched it on a livestream channel belonging to a guy who streamed the whole block. I just wish there were an official stream that I could watch, so I'd be able to support it that way :-/
