Back when the Marvel comic book event called "Fear Itself" came around, I always wished it had been a Marvel / DC Crossover. I was thinking that a Sinestro Corps member would be on a secret mission by Sinestro himself to investigate a strange disturbance that was happening in the far reaches of the galaxy. Upon reaching the disturbance, which was actually some sort of a wormhole, the Sinestro Corps member would be sucked into it and killed during the trip. His body would be destroyed through the travel but his ring would survive and finally make its way to the end of the wormhole; right in the Marvel universe. Now in a new sector and in need of a Sinestro Corps member to 'protect' it, the ring would search out the most feared being in the entire Universe. Now I'll be honest, I always flip flopped around this decision but the one I always go back to is that the ring picks Thanos. Thanos would quickly learn how to wield the ring and use it to trace it's point of origin, leading Thanos to the DC Universe. With so much new life, and a new form of Death herself for him to try and woo, Thanos started wrecking havoc on the DC Universe, but in the process stealing the other Lantern Corps rings, his infinity gauntlet somehow able to make him able to wear all the rings and gain all of the positive abilities of them while gaining none of their weaknesses. Eventually Hal Jordan would find the wormhole to the Marvel universe and ask them to help. He would have them help by 7 Lantern Corps rings coming to the Marvel universe (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet) and picking out the Marvel heroes to wield the rings. Blue would go to Captain America, Green to Spider-man, Yellow to Dr. Doom, Red to either Hulk or Wolverine and I never really figured out the rest, heh. |

Honestly I like seeing Warhammer 40k stuff, mostly the Chaos Gods and the Warp in general, mixed with almost anything with sci-fi or psionics of any sort. Marvel/DC crossovers are always fun to think about, but rarely turn out well. But I actuilly don't like full on crossovers, just taking bits and pieces of one universe and making them fit into another. |

I do NOT want to see what happens when the Eye and Hand of Vecna start getting around in the Elder Scrolls universe. Too scary. Though seeing how the Daedric Princes react to the Blood War could be entertaining. |

you know, i was thinking about trying something in FNV for a let's play (whenever it is that I get the materials needed to let's play) called Fallout New Cyrrodil. it begins in either oblivion or skyrim (likely oblivion) with a heavy weapons based character, then something happens one night and he wakes up in doc mitchell's office. not understanding what's happening to him. Long story short, I have a character from oblivion run around the fallout world with the general naivety of this place, holding honor in high regard, not understanding even the basest of guns and least of all energy weapons. I'm thinking he'd use restoration in the elder scrolls game, and medicine in Fallout, and have both melee weapon skills in the elder scrolls game and melee weapons as a tag in Fallout. not sure on what the last tag would be, maybe speech? |
