Update I thought you may like a little (and necessary) update regarding my Sim... Firstly, I gave my Sim Pet (Sarah) 3 traits. I thought you were able to do this...but it may be a disparity between the console version (360) and the PC. So, if you run into this, simply make Sarah's traits Loyal and Lazy. Now, on to more interesting stuff... It would seem that starting my Sim on painting prior to writing is a quick money-maker, the first few days/weeks living off of monetary reserves. I achieved this by moving into the cheepest house in the 360 version...and I've been upgrading ever since, upgrading everything. Sadly, this means my Sim is still lacking a fireplace...but I'm not far off I suspect. I'll also be creating a "writing nook" with a static computer when I get the chance, likely in the renovated bedroom. Outside my five-long kitchen unit (fridge inc) run, I've centred 3 plants for my Sim to grow. Two are; tomatoes and lettuce, the third, I believe, will be an onion. On top of that, my Sim grows an apple tree nearby. These plants (and the apple tree) feed into a self-sustaining supply of ingrediants for food my Sim throughly enjoys; pancakes, autumn salad, and spagetti in veggie sauce. I believe the onion will cut the cost for the occasional veggie burger and goopy carbonara too. The rest of the outside is decorated around the back door area and an painting easel to provide an nicely decorated moodlet... I sincerly hope this update helps, and if you have one of your own to provide...feel free. **edited text in unboldened green** Edited by Vosoros, Dec 1 2012, 06:31 AM.
