Welcome to Scroogeville. A sprawling metropolis where there are lots and lots of skyscrapers and booming business districts, also slums and industrial havens, but we don't talk about those. Also, our public services coverage is excellent. Police stations, fire stations, libraries, schools, universities etc are practically in every street corner...unfortunately with the tough economic situation of today the budget of those places has been cut repeatedly to about 10% of original. Same deal with public transportation, available, but severily limited funds to operate.

The not-in-our-backyard policy has forced the city to export overwhelming majority of its garbage, and import much of it's energy, as no new nuclear reactors are allowed by the green party liberals. The old coal plant however has managed to get another extension to its lifecycle, as it's much easier to block new powerplants from being built than it is to demand demolitions of old ones. Some renewable energy has been built, but as soon as the subsidies run out, they begin to crumble for lack of maintenance. Luckily we can import some energy from our neighbours.

Gambling is legalized, taxes for businesses and industry are slightly lowered while residents are taxed a lot. Also, very little or no statutes limiting industry's pollution.

Welcome to paradise. :)

Welcome to Random City. A mid-sized suburban dream (mid-sized density) built by the water's edge. Our economy is run using a combination of farms and industrial parks. Our excellent public services include schools, universities, police and fire stations, and anything else you can think of, each spaced out to maximize coverage for as little cost as possible. We are run on hydro-power. Bus stations are our only real mode of public transportation, and we try to keep constant access to our neighbors.

I can't recall if you can add flavour text to each of the cities for Sim City 4, but if you can...

Vos Angeles is a sleepy coutryside that dogedly strives to retain it's small town charms and traditional values. However, the wisdom of Vos Angels' mayor have seen modern influences permitted in the form of supurlative education and eco-friendly energy to preserve the beauty of this enchanting part of the world -- both today and tomorrow.

That's simple and too the point to remind you huh?

^_^
