Personally I do not think the game is that bad. I mean the story is not all that interesting to me but I do enjoy the ability to run around and fill my map with locations. I have just a slight obsession with having a complete map in games. I don't like being unable to find a location easily or having dark areas in my map. Now because I really focus on just mapping in this game I don't have a lot of dislikes to it. I don't care for the glitches, the story, or speech choices. I can over look them because I just want to run from location to location. The only thing I do dislike about this game is that creatures level with you. It is a bit of a thrill when you have to figure out a way to get past a higher level monster to pick up a location. I miss that but I am willing to overlook it because I have a huge map to explore. |

My last thoughts in Skyrim: 'I think I've run out of things to do that aren't the main quest. Oh well, I'll suppose I'll do that.' 'Oh seems that I've done the main quest now....Now what.....I suppose I'll turn it off then.' Just was kind of anticlimactic doing the main story. |

When I started this topic, I put down "My goal is to learn and to understand." Posts like this that share ones thoughts, feelings, point of views, and motivations for liking Skyrim is exactly what I wanted. Thank you Kohakublood for doing just that.

I find Skyrim a great game because I enjoy creating a character, background story and a goal for the person i create and play threw the game with this person role-playing what she/he/it would do. By doing this i experience an story which i will not know the outcome will be, trying a new stile like a farmer or a miner and even a detective, taking a new path than i commonly do, see new interaction with characters with-in the game (imagination) and most of all why i love Sckrim is that i have the power to create a new character unlike any before that will also create a new experience for me which is the best thing for me. = D |
