So I was reading an article on PCGamer, and the article was about what they wanted from Fallout 4. So I thought I'd make a topic to talk about what you want in the game, where you want it to be, etc.

Here's the article

I always thought it would be AWESOME if there were fallout games in:
A big city in Europe, like London, Paris, Berlin, Moscow, or Oslo.
The Amazon! Just imagine mutated, 3 headed jaguars ambushing you as you fight man sized mosquitoes with a nuclear powered spear. there could be different tribes, ect. ect.
The Sahara and surrounding safaris and savannas of Africa. Mutated lions and giraffes, anyone?
Greece and the Mediterranean, with some sort of cultural revival groups, like Caesars Legion, but with the Athenians, Thebians, Berbers, ect.

I'm going to be pissed off if it's in the Mojave again.

I doubt that they'll reuse the location of the Mojave. Because Nevada is just one state and not much is going to change.

As for the idea of the Amazon, it's a rain forest so I imagine that any trees would have been just nuked into oblivion which would just leave a great big barren wasteland, sure there could be small tribes here and there. But there would not be many set pieces.
Also I don't know a lot about Fallout lore so I don't know what Countries did and did not participate in the Chinese-American Nuke War, or the CANW.

Personally I'd like a big US city like New York or Philadelphia, especially since almost all of my extended family is in Philly so I go there like 5 times a year. Or maybe like Los Angeles? In NCR territory perhaps, if only because I kind of want to see a nuked Hollywood sign.

I don't ever remember reading anything about SA being nuked, but I could be wrong. And I remember a while back, when it was first confirmed that FA4 was in the works, Jason Bergman slipped this: http://www.spill.no/default.aspx?section=artikkel&id=1030
(Last sentence of 1st Interview paragraph.)
Which made fans suspect we would see the Mojave again, which would be lame.

I pretty much would like anything that's a change from flat, dusty land for miles...miles...miles...miles...miles...miles...miles...

In my personal opinion, for Fallout to be anywhere outside of America is sketchy. I feel that the whole Fallout series is embedded in Americana of the late 40s and 50s, that to drag it to other locales would lose a lot of the spirit of the game. That's not to say that change is bad, but I think moving it away from America would be a bad move.

There was an obscure tweet by a developer suggesting that they would revisit the Mojave. But I wouldnt mind that as they'd do it decades, perhaps centuries after New Vegas so it would be quite different.

I would like to see a Fallout more developed, with larger cities, deeper stories and characters but perhaps that would lose part of the survivalbility of the series. Maybe it could be the NCR goes to conquer Mexico? I dunno, throwing things into the air.

Also kinda of hard not to have a wasteland in a nuclear wasteland. 'sin the name dontchaknow.

I agree with most of the list, the only thing I would add along with the more people is make it look like they are trying to rebuild. One of the things I never liked about Fallout 3 was how it seemed like the bombs dropped 20 years ago not 200.

Also, if I had to pick an area, I would want the Seattle/Vancouver area.

Trust me Bethesda is a pretty smart company when it comes to developing worlds, at least in my opinion, they're not about to start reusing an environment that they've already covered. I mean they literally covered the entire state of Nevada, how are they going to change things?

I like the idea of leaving America, if done right. There's sooo much potential waiting to be used by the dev team, and limiting themselves to America can hinder that. It's a big leap, but it would be well worth it in my opinion if made right. And I really don't ever want to see the Mojave again, TBH.

They could definitely do a post apocalyptic scene that's more than just recolored salt flats for 80% of the map. And certain places are never mentioned in the lore, opening avenues there.
