History of the Mandalorians

"We are simply a misunderstood culture of warriors. The Republic and its citizens believe we're merely blood thirsty criminals with no conscious. In actuality, we're just a credit driven society with no perception between ages, species, or gender. Sure its a worse description but Mando'ade are not known to be subtle either." - Ge'carta Ordo, current Mand'alor

The Mandalorian culture was first conceived by the Taung, a society of soldiers for hire that follow six simple rules. At first they were just footmen for credits, doing what ever they needed to for survival. As the Taung spread from the Coruscant they allowed others who "had the right stuff" to join the family which would become beneficial to keep the way of life growing as the Taung became extinct. Carrying on the beliefs and virtues the species identity became a culture of several races, both men and women adopting the Resol'nare to become the most highly trained and skilled mercenaries in the galaxy.

Though each Mandalorian hails to their own clan, they have unified under an elected Mand'alor to rise to the Republic decree against them. To maintain their honor and preserve their culture they have made a declaration of war, blockading the Mandalore sector and protecting other planets that house Mandalorian clans. They will stop at nothing to survive, for that is the way of the soldier.

Currently Ge'carta Ordo of the Ordo aliit on the planet Ordo in the Mandalore sector in the Outer Rim is Mand'alor with two Lieutenants stationed on two other planets. The A'den clan controls Dxun in the Mid Rim, being the first line of defense. The Prudii clan is station on Coruscant, being the shadow scouts of intelligence. Other clans are based on various Mandalore sector to keep a stronghold in the ongoing war.
