Hi, I just feel a need to post something after a while so don’t mind this thread too much. What do you guys think is needed in a “good” story? Is it originality? A proper world building? Consistency? Goals? Conflicts? Characters? Interactions? Twists? Humors? I wonder how many I could list. Everyone have difference opinions, a good story to one may be bad to another so I’m not trying to gather any specific ideas (though they are still very welcome) but just what would make the general readers (majority) agree that the story they’re reading are indeed “good”. First about the characters, are they too set in stone? What I meant is that even though it’s obvious any character should have a role they’re filling, is forcing them into any role a good idea at all? We even have categories for character types like tsundere or arrogant young master, once they’re set into that role then it become obvious how character interaction will progress, making the story a bit less interesting, even if it's for comedic purpose. Should the characters possess more free will to break away from their archetype, I think any stories will be more interesting. Thanks, For More Details:- Cryptocurrency promotional campaign example |
